Everton/Benfica
Lazio are already out. Everything was known in this group even before this round.

And looking at the teams we can get, there isn't any difference at all between the holders and non-holders.

holders said:
Juventus
Unirea Urziceni
Wolfsburg
Marseille

Anderlecht
Valencia
Hapoel Tel Aviv
Sporting
Roma
Galatasaray
Salzburg
Fenerbahce
Shakhtar
Werder Bremen
PSV Eindhoven
Benfica
non-holders said:
Atletico Madrid
Liverpool
Rubin Kazan
Standard

Athletic Bilbao
København
Club Brugge
Everton
Villareal
Panathinaikos
Fulham
Hertha Berlin
Hamburg
Lille
Ajax
FC Twente

Is that from Wikipedia?

I don't think we can get Lpool
From what I read earlier, it's like this:

Holders (16 teams)
- The 12 winners of the Europa League groups
- The best 4 third placed teams from the CL groups

Non-holders (16 teams)
- The 12 second placed teams in the Europa League groups
- The worst 4 third placed teams from the CL groups

But this is yet to be confirmed.

The best 4 third placed teams in CL were Juve, Unirea, Wolfsburg and Marseille (Wolfsburg and Marseille had 7 pts, just like Liverpool, but they had better goal difference than Liverpool).
The worst 4 third placed teams in CL were Liverpool, Rubin, Atletico Madrid and Standard.

Lazio losing at home to Levski.
The Italians are falling and falling.

All 6 German teams are still in, 4 of them in Europa League, while 5 of the 7 Italian teams are left in the competition, with 3 of them playing in CL.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Italians lose the third place till the end of this season. Right now Italy still has 2.8 pts advantage over Germany, but the advantage keeps getting smaller and smaller.

Btw, this year UEFA gives much bigger bonus points to the CL teams. Until last year, qualifying from the group stages was bringing only 1 bonus point while this year it brings 5 points.

This year, so far, this is how many points each Italian team won:

1. Fiorentina 20.0 not out
2. AC Milan 16.0 not out
3. Internazionale 16.0 not out
4. AS Roma 12.5 not out
5. Juventus 10.0 not out
6. Genoa 6.5 out
7. Lazio Roma 5.0 out

Even if we qualify for CL next year, we'll be in pot 3 for sure :(

meh serie a will lose their 4th spot, it's only a matter of time. Even though the german league is far weaker. It might just become a tussel but the two leagues, one time we'll have it, and at other times they'll have it

but maybe a juventus vs roma uefa cup final will save calcio
