Liverpool are already barbarians in the eyes of the world. SO what's it matter.

I actually don't think anything will be done. But when three players converge on one and continuously hack away at his ankle, it makes me think that was premeditated. Basically Juande Ramos is a dick.
I love your avatar :)

Real Madrid at least play some decent football under Ramos. I think they should extend his contract past the summer.
I wonder if we put in a 10 Million Euro bid for VDV can we get him? They dont even call him up. I think it would be clever business.

it really was ridiculous, the ref should have done something about it, but it was at the bernabeu, so no chance. Torres gets the shit kicked out of him no matter who we play, and while he clearly gets annoyed in games (ie against manu) he doesn't dive, and the other team gets away with it. Now with him having injury problems, it's only going to get worst

Torres has dived a good bit in the past. I have seen Atletico play alot and I remember him in the CL a few times with Liverpool. Not to say that kicking him is fair. Madrid did the same thing but worse when they played Barca in the first game under Ramos.

I've seen Torres play a lot, mostly with Liverpool of course, and while he has the occasional dive, he dives far less than anyone who receives similarly rough treatment.

I just saw a bit of the match... there was a challenge by Riera (I think), a two footed lunge near the corner flag on Robben... It was right under the linesman's nose and he didn't give the foul... Refs are going backwards these days...

same thing happened during teh Real-Barca game, where pretty much every Real player took a turn at kicking Messi. he was basically fouled everytime he touched the ball but since it was a different player everytime the ref could not do too much about it:tdown:

surprisin, ESPN is showing Liverpool-Real, usually they stick to the same match up the show the first leg. I wanted to watch juve actually, more exciting game I think

Two awful handball calls in two matches which very likely will cost the match for Juve and Madrid.

Yes the lead is deserved but that penalty killed all Real's hopes.
And the penalty no longer matters. Madrid got dominated. The penalty was harsh, but it's not like they had any momentum what-so-ever before that.
