did I mention that the American commentators are so pro-United that its disgusting ??? :yuck:

Try being stuck with the commentators in the UK!

Its always interesting to see how long it takes them to mention that Simone Perrotta was born in Ashton-Under-Lyne (Near Machester). This time it took them 10 seconds into the game to bring it up!

great result for Liverpool!! Sounds like we played a very good game (my stream sucked, so I only caught little bits of it) and could have scored more. I hope Torres isn't too bad though, losing him again would really be a huge blow. He's done a great job at improving his link-up play, playing great reverse balls etc with his back to goal.

I am amazed by Benitez who year after year manages to pull out results out of his arse from a squad that player for player reminds me of Siena or Catania if you put Torres and Gerrard to the side.

in all honesty the squad is a lot better than that, nowhere near Manu for example, and we've definitely thin on attacking talent, but I would say we have a pretty solid team ;)

I read that canna played very well, and Robben was of course their best player. If anything shows how much we've progressed with Benitez, the fact that his (admittedly excellent) Valencia gave Liverpool a footballing lesson home and away bach when Houllier was in charge, and now we can travel to spain and beat Barca and Real on their home turf really says it all.

did you see inter-manu? Ribery is very good, but at the moment I would say that Ronaldo and Messi are the two most effective and dangerous players in the world. Ribery is still a level below that
Did you see Sporting-Munich? If the answer is no and I'm sure it is then watch the highlights and you would know what I'm talking about.
