UEFA President Michel Platini has revealed his wish to hand over the Champions League trophy to Alessandro Del Piero in May.

The Bianconeri legend has never denied that he is still today a big fan of the Old Lady and has been following them closely this term.

“I was in Turin when Del Piero scored against Real Madrid's Iker Casillas,” he noted. “I stood up for what I thought was the best goal of 2008, not just because of my past.

“My dream would be to see Juve winning the Champions League and St Etienne the UEFA Cup,” concluded the Frenchman.
