POT 1 :
Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester, Lyon, Inter, Real Madrid

POT 2:
Bayern, PSV, Villareal, Roma, Porto, Werder, Sporting, Juventus

POT 3:
Marselle, Zenit, Steaua, Panathinaikos, Bordaux, Celtic, Basel, Fenerbahce

POT 4:
Shakhtar Donieck, Fiorentina, Atlético Madrid, Dinamo Kiev, Cluj, Aalborg, Anorthosis Famagusta, Bate Borisov

We can get ONLY 1 team from pots 1, 3 and 4

WE CAN'T :
- Get another team from pot 2
- Get another team from Italy
- Get 2 teams from the same country ( so, in case we get Atletico, we can't get Real etc)

Btw, somebody knows how will the draw be taken ? Will they take first the teams from pot 4 or they'll start from pot 1 ? Because if they start from pot 1 and we get Real or Barca, it authomatically means that we can't get Atletico.
Thank you Allen, i ve been looking for this board since i returned home, happy after the Olympiakos disqualification:vinny:
And most important, Salche's defeat!!:flag3:

Every year, they always pick the pot 1 teams first, so i guess this will be the case this time too. I ve heard its gonna be at 18:30, your time, not sure though...

I second this. I felt like a die-hard Standard fan while watching the match and my heart stopped for a second when Kuyt scored.
Such a shame for the Belgian team. They are a team worthy of playing in CL.
Dante missed a penalty two weeks ago and missed the ball today allowing Kuijt to score. It's the one weakness they really have, but against teams like Liverpool it shows. For Juventus it's a good thing 'Pool qualified. Easier team to play against IMO.

Don't count on it. Your arrogant son of a bitch coach who has got no tactical knowledge of the game whatsoever, but just lines up an entire team of defenders and gets lucky every single time in the CL is going to pay this season. Buying Robbie Keane was a huge mistake, as he's annoying your one good player aside from Gerrard, Torres. And apart from that this Liverpool team really has got nothing to offer. Carragher has always been one of the worst in the entire EPL, I don't know why Skrtel is playing for Liverpool and your midfield can't string two passes together.

They will lose against big sides and by god, they will lose heavily.
No comment. I'll just let you rant until your head explodes.

I think that they first start with pot 1, and than finish it so that every big team is already in a group. Thats at least what I THINK.

Thanks guys.
So, it won't be too bad if we get a Spanish team from pot 1, he ? That way we'll at least secure ourselves from getting Atletico from the last pot.

It's a poor team, Enron. I'm a big Fernando Torres fan and I rate Gerrard very highly, but honestly, I don't know how anyone could support this Liverpool side. They were nicer to look at when they were doing very badly a couple of years ago. Benitez has just killed the entire Liverpool image.

It's too bad really. Because if there was ever any team you would support just because of what it represented it was Liverpool.

I merged the threads as there was absolutely no use for two CL threads.

Forza draw tomorrow, Aalborg here I come.

I will see Juve live this season once again but if we draw Aalborg I will see Juve live at least twice the coming season.
I can only hope to match your number, if we get Cluj and Panathinaikos or Steaua.

Aalborg and Steaua would make us both happy, in fact that would made every Juventino happy:spliff:

If you don't know how anyone could support this Liverpool fan then I guess you don't what being a fan is all about.

I don't care if we win (though I like it) and it doesn't matter if Juve draw us and beat us 14 nil. I'm beginning to get fed up with the owners and management as are many fans, but that certainly doesn't mean I'm going to run off and become a Chelsea or Barcelona supporter. If Juve all the sudden "had no heat" and looked poor for a few games at the beginning of a season, would you become and Inter supporter? Understand that and you may understand where I'm coming from.

I would always support Juventus as long as they were truly Juventus. Liverpool haven't been Liverpool for well over 4 years now. They're a brand. More than any other European team.

The tragedy of course is that it is Liverpool. I mean Liverpool. And why did Benitez pick Liverpool? Of all the clubs he could have chosen, why did he want to destroy the one team that represents being a fan?

Btw, Seven, that American guy with an African surname was really dominant in the box.
But i was impressed by another guy who'll, without any doubt, be a great player in the future (unless he's old already :) )
Felliani or Fellaini
