Keep in mind that Barca still made three or four clear chances.
Which three or four clear chances? Barca had the possession but they couldn't make much more clear chances than Chelsea. Barca had two (Eto'o and Bojan), while Drogba missed Chelsea's clear chance. Ballack's header was close too.

That penalty call was never a penalty.
Ballack should have recieved a second yellow though. I also expected Puyol to get a second yellow for a foul over Malouda, but for some reason (i didn't see what was the reason, so maybe it was justified) the ref gave a foul for Barcelona.
Oh, don't tell me that Barca fans are moaning about that Henry incident. No way could it be a penalty. As for the Puyol's foul, the ref called for an offside which was a strange decision for the foul took place beforehand.

Oh and btw, screw the fair play when your :gsol:beautiful football:gsol: isn't functioning

Hleb also had a good chance.
Barcelona had most of the chances in the added time, which i found very surprising because i thought Chelsea will know how to waste time.

Add Hleb's one-on-one and there were several half chances.

Strictly speaking, it was a penalty.

Very tough for the officials to spot, though, and wouldn't expect them to be given very often.

When a team has a supposedly world class forward line, you expect them to take a percentage of half chances.
Well yeah, especially when the team they're playing is staying completely negative.

Of course Barcelona is going to have the lion's share of possession, the majority chances and a lot of "half chances". Chelsea conceded that fact from the start.

The issue is that Barca failed to put any of those chances away, at home. Now it's even and Chelsea will probably use a similar tactic, though I expect them to counter a lot more, with a home crowd.

I don't really think it matters whether Barcelona had ten chances or fifty when Chelsea practically conceded the pitch for the entire match. If anything it says a lot about Chelsea's defense.

Xavi's got such an outstanding vision on the field.
You mean from his back, lying on the pitch? :D

Btw, did you guys also see something moving in Bosingwa's pocket, trying to escape from there but couldn't?
Maybe his unibrow was finally turning into a butterfly.

Iniesta had him hold the abalone he got from a dive earlier.

Chelsea to win the CL, IMO.
I dunno. When away goals count for a lot in this tournament, the big mistake from Chelsea, IMO, was not trying much at all to get on the board. With the next match at Stamford Bridge, they're going to have their away-goal worries big time. Barca isn't exactly the kind of squad where you want to put yourself in the position of defending the away goal.

Chelsea really frustrated Barca tonight and did it well. Messi looked average for the first time that ive ever seen him. Iniesta is class. Very negative from chelsea but it paid off. looks like they're on for their 2nd C.L Final in a row.
