Boy this draw kind of sucks for us. We have Everton in the Sunday Derby, then Arsenal away (CL), the Arsenal on the weekend, then Arsenal home (CL). Good luck boys.

Let me put this in perspective as an independent...

Weekend: wouldn't mind being Arsenal.

Weekdays: definitely don't want to be Arsenal.

I would seriously laugh my ass off if, after 3 EPL teams in the final four and an Italian team won it all last season, once again 4 EPL teams in the final 8 still wind up with an Italian champion.

The only thing that sucks in this draw is that Barcelona will reach the semi finals.

Hmm the lack of a striker may be their weakness, but I also think it's their strength. If you play with a box player less, you have one player more on the ball. Roma's touch and go play is about positioning, quick passing, incoming midfielders and always finding the right guy, this way it's almost as if they play wth 6 midfielders and thus always giving them plenty of options to pass the ball to.
Yup agreed, a Van Nistelrooy mould striker would just slow their game down, i dont believe they're really going for Huntelaar.

All of these are good fixtures apart from the Barcelona one. If they can lose would be great. The match up everyone will be paying closest attention to will be Roma vs Man Utd because of what happened last season. I think that Roma need to play a physical game in order to get a draw at Old Trafford.

Would also love to see Arsenal kick the stuffing out of Liverpool.

I have not been following this entire debate and I find it sad that Snoop is banned. However, Rab, I know you are the kind of guy who takes decisions when his ego is attacked. I know you are also too emotional to be a good mod. I never understood your appointment and quite frankly I'm surprised there haven't been more troubles.

That said, I myself have not had much to say about you ever since the appointment. I think you're a good guy and I think you're trying very hard to be a good mod, I just didn't agree with the choice and I never will. This isn't some sort of personal spite or anything (after all I never wanted to be a mod and would decline if someone offered me to be one). I would simply want to advise you to change a bit as a mod.
I'll try my best, thats for sure. But the likes of Snoop should understand that I'm not taking advantage of anyone because I have the power to ban.

I accepted to be a mod to help the forums be a better place, and not to ban members. Thats the last thing I think of, really.

Now the biggest question is, why doesn't Inter win when the referee is not Italian?
They shouldn't expect everything from TIM.Vodafone could help though

Yes maybe he'll do something like Azize did with Fenerbahce.
He 'resigned' from the club and everybody was only talking about his resignation and not about Galatasaray's title win. After a few weeks, he signed back for Fener. It was all just a big smoke screen to keep the GS celebrations to a minimal.
Maybe Mancini is doing the same. So now everybody is talking about his resignation in stead of the CL loss. In a few weeks he'll say that he wants to stay and everybody will forget the humiliation of Inter's CL campaign.
    How can you know this?

    Azize:rofl:

you know, i'm perfectly happy to have memories of Juve and Liverpool raping Inter this season, no matter what happens. arsenal and manu were the 2 teams I really wanted liverpool to avoid, but oh well. seeing matterazzi pwned by torres and del piero has made this season for me.
