I think that Barca, with the players they had yesterday should be able to beat Rangers, I agree Gudjonsson shouldn't have played as a midfielder, maybe Rijkaard should have gone for a 4-4-2 with Messi as RM and Ronaldinho as ML and INiesta, Xavi as the two MC's, Henry and Gudjonsson as strikers, I think that would have been better then what he did yesterday, playing 2-3 players completely out of position.
IMO, your coach is your biggest weakness, togheter with a completely out of form Ronaldinho.
agree with you on FR is not the best coach for barca , but yesterday he was forced to play like this because he dont have the needed players but what make me angry is that he sees henry not doing anything and he keep him for the 80th minute , the same of ranaldinho , he could make the sub. giovanny and bojan at least in the middle of the seond half but choose to stay like this till the end and make only one sub in this game.

True, but again, like I said, he had the players to play a 4-4-2 and play everyone more in his position then how they played yesterday.
Also, like you said, it was obvious it dind't work how he played, but he did no effort to change the tactic.

i have said it many times FR is not that good and he was NOT behind barca winning the liga twice and the Cl in the last 2 years , the man behind that success IMO was his assistant at that time ten cate the current chelsea assistant coach. once he left to ajax barca started to suffer cause FR dont know that much in tactics

Some people are never satisfied

Even the milanista liked it

Impressed...honestly. But I said that you guys would be out for blood. Anyhow, all good to put a rest to that anti-football theories of the Spainish and English Media. Milan and Juve are through..proving more and more that last season was not a 'flash in the pan' in which italian teams did well. KUDOS ZEBRAS.
Pado asks: "can we play you every week?"

I am awed by the 7-0 scoreline posted by our "second" team, but I must offer som measure of respect to Olympiakos, the Greeks only committed approx. four fouls in the entire match. If this is what Juve can do when allowed to play, then Serie A teams that foul 40 times per match are getting it right:(

That thread made some great reading, top stuff from us, esp with such a 2nd string team out. There were a few pro-Inter posts & even one anti-Lippi comment, just shows how football can change.

Did my eyes deceive me or did I notice the fantastic attacking, entertaining, exciting Barca team running down the clock to hold on to a 0-0 draw against Rangers?
    Typical Barca cluelessness

with 10 men defending for rangers and 75% position, it was very hard to score and Barca should have had at least one penalty but at the end the draw is good for barca since barca will play 2 of the next 3 games at home.

fantastic display for Arsenal , they play wonderful attacking football just like barca
Again with the lame excuses? :disagree:

I really didn't get why Henry was playing on the left and Ronaldinho in the centre, Henry isn't as fast as he used to be anymore and clearly played out of position yesterday.
The Barca I saw yesterday won't win the CL, and that had nothing to do with how Rangers played, Barca should be able to win matches like these, else they can forget winning the cl.
And Ronaldinho is just awfull at the moment.
Because Frank Rijkaard is as clueless as his team....all of them.

Well, the question is, would you be as harsh had he worn the white and black?
Luckily for us he will never wear our shirt. Dancing prick!!!

barca now is missing a lot of first team players especially in the midfield . so this is not the best form of bara , gudionsen played in midfield cause barca dont have any midfielders cause of injury , also puyol played instead of zambrotta on the RB .and yes like you said henry should not play on the left cause he is not fast like he was before
    More excuses? Drop it already

Who are you to laugh about nationalities? Do you want anyone comparing the Jordanians with other nationalities?

It's just like hearing Mancini blaming the weather.

Weasley, congrats on the big win. Paro is better than Fabregs :lol2:
thanks.Yes what a performance by our young Fab..the guy plays like he's been in the game for 10 years:eek:
But Aberdeen are shite and everyone says we're shite.

I'm commenting on the fact that the team that is the best to watch on the planet (according to the press), weren't trying to score in the last few minutes against a pretty average Rangers team.

Also, Henry has lost half a yard of pace and Ronal-I play with a smile on my face-dinho was moping around and looking fairly disinterested.
He lost half a yard of pace in his last season with Arsenal..i just thought that he'd get it back sooner or later..seems not.

I cant get how can anyone be a supporter for 2 teams!!!
    It is just Bullshit.
I cant believe that a Hardcore Bayern fan like this Bombarshit has 30,000 post on a Juve forum.

People may like other teams than the one they support but supporting 2 teams!

At least one? There was one shout and that wasn't a penalty beause it was smashed off the players hand from about a yard away.

    :agree:
exactly i can't even think of any other occasion in the match where there was even a claim for a penalty.

There was one that hit Hutton's hand like you said it was blasted at him from a yard away, and it wasnt like his arms were up in the air.

barca shouldnt have had to have relied on a penalty, i mean they head messi against sasa papac.

and another point, i'm glad juve didnt sign Milito, he didnt look anywhere near a £15m defender.

I was amazed at how rarely Messi tried to beat Papac. Every time he got the ball he just cut inside and laid the ball off.

And yes, even in a game where he was barely under any pressure, Milito was unconvincing.
