:p

Laugh while you can. I'll see you on Sunday when we'll lose with Fiorentina because of Milan's defeat yesterday.
You know how the smart men here say " Milan winning in CL is good for Juve" .
Milan loosing in cl is the worst thing that can happen to Juve, so now we will lose on Sunday.

ps : what's with us Croats ? Why do we hate Milan so much ? :smoke:
Yeah, we're doomed, our team's morale will probably be on a record low after this result. I heard Buffon isn't able to get out of bed, poor bastard, he's devasted, he doesn't see the future in Italian football anymore after this defeat.

I don't know, I guess it just seems the right thing to do. :D

they sold Abidal ,Tiago , Malouda, not sure if anyone else, those were three important players for them , i don't know who they bought to replace them
Grosso, Keita and and Bodmer were bought as replacements. They also changed the manager. :wallbang:

Didn't Lyon get Grosso, Kallstrom and Baros as most famous new players last summer.
Kallstrom was bought 2 seasons ago I think and Baros was brought last season in winter break.

They also sold Wiltord. Also Cris, their leader in defense and their 1st goalkeeper, Coupet (who is extremely good) are injured for a long time.

I find it funny how Milan players show their acting skills twice in a row in Glasgow. Last time it was Gilardino and his amazing dive, now it's Dida.
I wonder what's gonna happen the next time they play in Glasgow. Gattuso will fake an epilepsy attack when he gets fauled ?

I don't know, but seriously acting is normal, it's usual in football and everyone does it. But this Dida move is outright imbecilic. What he started running after the guy and all of a sudden his legs gave way and he fell down as if struck by lightning? Worse thing is, even though it was an obvious acting routine, it's still gonna fly by UEFA and Celtic will be fined even more because of Dida's theatrics.

That'd be nice, I'd like to see Gattuso to kick and scream on the floor once, for a change. God damn bison, not a football player.

Shit manager who wasn’t even good enough for Portsmouth. And they sold Capaca to Newcastle… Wasn’t he there captain?
Oh yeah, I forgot Cacapa. That´s like they´re missing half of their last season starting 11. Maybe even more. And new manager.

No wonder they´re shite.

Blog: Dida’s disgrace
While nobody can condone an interloper on the pitch confronting a player, was the bigger crime in Milan’s clash with Celtic not Nelson Dida’s theatrical over-reaction? Steve Wilson thinks an Oscar is in order for the Brazilian shot-stopper

I have to confess that I have a conflict of interests in this debate – let’s just say I wasn’t too upset with Milan’s defeat to Celtic last night. But club loyalties aside, there is a single issue that overshadowed the latest chapter in the Rossoneri’s malaise, and in my opinion there is more than one punishment that UEFA should be dishing out when they review the video of the game and the Nelson Dida ‘assault’.

If you didn’t see the incident let me recap. Following Scott McDonald converting a last-gasp winner for Celtic, a home supporter ran across the penalty area and placed what can, at worst, be described as a slap on the chest of Baghera La Pantera. The netminder then fell to the soil clutching his head as if he had been clocked by a Rocky Balboa haymaker and left the pitch on a stretcher with an ice pack clutched to his temple.

First things first, this Ned should never have been able to get on the playing area and whatever fine UEFA have set aside for punishing such incidents will correctly be handed to Celtic. Nobody can have any complaint about this. If this had occurred at the San Siro there would probably be cries from the British Press for peninsula clubs to be banned, so the Scottish champions must take the fine without complaint.

Obviously no player should have to worry about being attacked on the pitch and, while this incident can be laughed off, you have to consider that the moron could have been carrying a knife. But, in this case, the assailant wasn’t even packing a decent punch, so to see Dida’s reaction was quite embarrassing – a shameful act of deception that surpassed Alberto Gilardino’s dive on the same ground last season.

I’m kidding myself to think that UEFA will punish the ‘keeper, but there is a precedent in world football. In 1989 Chile were losing to Brazil in a crucial World Cup qualifier. A flare was thrown on to the pitch and ‘keeper Roberto Rojas fell to the ground apparently in agony, before video evidence showed the flare didn’t touch him and his injuries were self-inflicted. Rojas was banned for life and Chile booted out of the competition.

I’m not saying Dida’s career should be over – well maybe it’d be doing him a favour after his recent howlers – but such an act of pantomime deserves punishment. His collapse when the only thing injured was his pride was a cynical attempt to dramatise the incident to Celtic’s detriment. Then again, maybe I’m being harsh on the tall, well-built custodian. If his pain threshold is as soft as his hands then that wee tap probably was excruciating.

Ronaldo: I Didn’t Say That Roma Players 'Begged For Mercy’

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has denied ever saying that Roma players begged him for mercy during last season’s meeting in the Champions League.

In the build-up to Tuesday’s re-match between Man Utd and Roma, the press printed extracts from Ronaldo’s book, which supposedly said that some Roma players pleaded with the winger not to “do any more dribbles”.

However Ronaldo has rubbished these reports and says that everything has been misinterpreted.

“Read my book and you will see on page 112 exactly what happened,” he stressed. “A Roma player did ask me to stop dribbling, but obviously he was joking just like some English players do when they ask me to switch to the other side of the pitch.

“Roma played well and had some good chances and we aren’t the side we were in April. But we are improving and we will be better at the Olimpico in December.”

Ronaldo also accepted that the elbow he received off Roma striker Mirko Vucinic, which caused him to require stitches for a facial wound, was not deliberate.

“It wasn’t an intentional foul,” Ronaldo said. “It was just one of those things that happen during a game.

“I don’t like black eyes, but Vucinic didn’t do it on purpose and these things happen in football.”

Canna criticises "lazy" Real

Fabio Cannavaro praised Lazio for their performance, but admits “lazy” Real Madrid have much to learn about team spirit and defending as a unit.

“Lazio played a great game and we didn’t do too well, as we should not have left so much space and were lucky they didn’t make the most of that,” he said after the 2-2 draw at the Olimpico.

“I have been playing in Spain for a year and there are differences. You defend less as a unit and more as individuals, so you get a lot of one-against-one or even two-against-one. This is their mentality and that is tough to change, even though we tried last season.”

Fabio Capello won the Liga title with Real, but was fired because his style of play was not considered to be entertaining enough.

Cannavaro was one of the few imports requested by Capello that remained at the club and he revealed the difficulties he has to deal with in Madrid.

“I always tell them to help out the defence, as the important thing in a team is balance and everyone fighting together,” he told Sky Italia television.

“I can’t ask Ruud van Nistelrooy and Raul to work in defence, but I can tell them to adjust their position slightly during the difficult times when we are under pressure.

“When you are on the field with attacking midfielders like Wesley Sneijder, Guti and Arjen Robben, they get lazy and focus more on the attack rather than coming back to help out. We do discuss these things.”

Gabriel Heinze was used as Cannavaro’s central defensive partner in that Champions League encounter.

“We have had injuries to Pepe and Metzelder, while we needed a bit more attacking flair down the right with Sergio Ramos, so Heinze was chosen to partner me in the centre. We have a large squad and the Coach likes to change regularly so everyone gets a rest.”

Real Madrid now share top spot in Group C with Olympiacos, who won 3-1 away to Werder Bremen, on four points. Lazio have two points, Werder are yet to get off the mark.

Wasn't Boban like a national hero or something?

    Or maybe it's Savisevic :confused2

As for your logic, I think Lazio and Inter helped us a bit, we might get a draw against Fiorentina.

Boban was a national hero and we do have a lot of Milan fans here in Croatia. In my town the majority cheer for Milan. So, people like me, Vlatko and Alen are probably rare cases of Milan haters but we all found ourselves on a Juve forum. :p

Savicevic is from Montenegro. Boban was indeed a national hero, but from Croatian clubs i like Hajduk the most and i like Hajduk players more (Hajduk players always play for Juve. Jarni, Boksic, Tudor) . Boban was a Dinamo Zagreb man and so was Simic. :p
Actually, many Croats like Milan. Croats in general don't hate Milan. I was surprised to see that Croats in this forum dislike Milan so much, even more than they dislike Inter.

As for your logic, Milan are too powerful and have great influence on our results. Inter and Lazio don't have that power. They'd have had to win 10:0 to neutralize Milan's defeat.
There's no help. Milan lose in CL = disaster for Juve and defeat on Sunday, maybe even defeats in next 3 weeks.

Winning the Champions league wihout Juventus being a part of it just doesent have the same appeal.
I think its a big blow for Champions league itself that Juventus is not compeating in it.

How can we help Milan win more in the CL? We need them to get a CL spot.
