Real are eating Lazio alive and it seems that Raul wants to tell Inzaghi who is the king of Europe once and for all. I expect him to score more goals tonight.

And seeing this Lazio, we SHOULD come back with a victory from Rome on Saturday.
Lazio is playing away though, in Rome they held Madrid in the cage. We are not that superior to Lazio, if we are at all. It will be much tougher than it looks tonight. This is still Real Madrid we are talking about playing at home turf.

Johann Cruyff remarked about Inzaghi"Look, actually he can't play football at all. He's just always in the right position."

Alex Ferguson once quipped, "Pippo Inzaghi was born in an offside position."

I just saw that Raul has 61 goals, only 2 less than Inzaghi. He can equalise the record today already :D

He'll beat the record sooner or later though. He is 4 years younger than Inzaghi

Pippo Inzaghi was born in 1973 while Raul in 1977

Btw, Ledesma got a knock in the first half and was replaced at halftime :smoke:

:toast:
He's the only ex-Juve player i really hate.
And eventhough he scored 28 of his 63 goals in Juve, i still wish Raul to beat the record, ASAP

Porto-Besiktas 1:0
Look what I just told Martin on MSN

Jack
it's a shame that inzaghi is holding a record of any kind, except the number of offsides in an attacker's career

em
I take it youre not a fan :D

Jack
why would i be a fan of a player who plays for milan, has no skill whatsoever except scoring goals in the weirdest ways, when he was with juve he used to miss sitters and when he scores he celebrates like a mad man?

If there is one Milan player I hope dies in a plane crash, it would be Inzaghi. He's a little sewer rat... he'd crawl up your ass just to get into a position to score a goal in a friendly.

PS - I also hate Liverpool.

Porto scored the second goal and now it's clear that Liverpool won't win the group and they'll play one of Milan, Inter, Barcelona, Real in the next round ;)

... or Sevilla, if Sevilla wins the group in front of Arsenal.
Well, I hate Milan, Inter, and Real, so that doesn't matter.

I hope Sevilla knocks those cunts out. Well done Quaresma.

Well that's the good part. One of them will be eliminated.
If Liverpool won the group they would have gotten some outsider like Olympiacos or Fenerbahce and they would have passed the round easily. This way at least one of the favorites will get fucked in February already.

Hopefully Inter and Liverpool along with Milan will be fucked.

In reality, I don't see Barca or Milan winning Europe this year, same thing with Chelsea and Sevilla. Inter certainly will not win it. So that leaves Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Liverpool. In my opinion one of those three sides will win the Champions League this season. Perhaps it's Arsenal's year. Still have a long way to go though.

I agree with your predictions except that I see Liverpool not as a strong contender as Madrid or Arsenal. Also as you said it is a long way to go and too early to judge.

Most of the time it depends on the draw anyway, so we shall see. I wouldn't mind it if Arsenal won... they're a damn good side and NOT English by the way. They just play in England.
