As far as i remember,Valencia were the better team in both the legs.Inter were pretty fortunate to go through.Especially at the Mestella were Valencia outplayed Inter but were unlucky to go out because Inter go an early goal.
I´m reffering to this match:

Valencia - Inter 1-5

20/10 2004 20:45

0-1 47 min. Stankovic
0-2 49 min. Vieri
1-2 73 min. Aimar
1-3 76 min. Van Der Meyde
1-4 81 min. Adriano
1-5 90 min. Cruz

I don´t know about you, but this sounds to me like Valencia was owned. :D

I think Bayern has the upper hand now that they have reunited with Hitzfeld, especially when you take in consideration Real's dressing room atmospere. Bayern will be the end of Capello at Real.

Maybe Hitzfeld will have the say in this encounter but I am leaving this to the players actually, it has nothing to do with Capello and the dressing room.

just like jack said this game(madrid-bayern) is most about the players , although capello usually does well in the big games and for madrid this is one of the biggest this season.

Ottmar can do so much with a dead team like that and a team thats so inept and uncreative. Like i said when they first brought him in, hes no magician.

Valencia will own Inter once again.
Word.

Lot of people think It'll be an easy match for Inter, but If we look It from the other side, we'll figure out that Inter are failure in Champions League, and being on top in Serie A doesn't really mean anything(Not to also mention that they're leading without us in A, and Milan aren't the same) so they're pretty lucky IMO.

We've seen what they're capable of in the CL, I've seen them struggling against Bayern, and Sporting, they were somehow lucky to move to the last 16.

True, but on the other hand, Inter is more than capable of beating Valencia. Almost all of their players are on top-form right now, especially Stanković, Maicon and Adriano and Valencia may be extremely tired because of the tough match against Barcelona......

Actually Inter struggled in the first two games but came back to be a different team afterwards, solid and has all what it takes to reach out far. Now I know that Turk and Badass_Devil will think I am an Inter fan, but this is their mind capability. If you ignore Mancini's tactics, you'd see that Inter has a complete team and they are strong in ever department where Valencia still have injuries.

inter might be overconfident. and they've only won 16 in a row only because they didnt have a chance to choke in italy yet. if valencia win at home, inter might panic and dont get the needed result in milan.

I´d say chances are 55 - 45 to Inter....

Inter have a more complete and balanced team, not to mention a much more in-form team. However, and this is not my Valencia bias speaking honestly, Valencia has a great team and some amazing individual quality, especially in attack, which can damage just about any team in Europe ATM. They lack consistency, I blame that on lots of injuries and Florres' ludicrous rotation policy, but on a good day they can beat anyone. Don't count them out so quickly.

Besides, Inter, like some of you have said, could be under the influence of their Serie A campaign and have the wrong attitude for this match. They are favourites, but those don't always win.
