If Capello were to make the stupid mistakes as he did with Pool, Juventus have to be prepared to be slaughtered by Bremen. Their style of play is so offensive that they shouldn't be disregarded
I actually believe that Bremen's attack-minded style of play could be an advantage for us. When we played Liverpool in England they came out of the blocks flying and caught us by surprise but let's not forget that we had not played a competitive game for two weeks when we stepped onto the pitch at Anfield. This time round we will be more prepared and Bremen's offensive tactical stand point will IMO be beneficial to the Juve cause. If this Juventus team has a problem it is their inability to break down teams with their build-up play because of a lack of creativity in midfield. This was unfortunately underlined against Liverpool in the second leg last season. When a decent team with quality defenders gets men behind the ball we struggle, but Bremen don't play like this. Their insistance on getting forward should leave valuable spaces for us, spaces which players like Nedved, Camoranesi, Mutu, Del Piero, Ibrahimovic and Trezeguet can use to good effect.

True, I do believe that we can expose Bremen as stated in my previous post

I can't complain much about the draw, at least we didn't get PSV or Chelsea regarding that matter. Werder is the 3rd choice team which I didn't want to face. They have the best attack in the Bundesliga, with the most number of goals and assists, and the top scorer is Klose, who has scored 16 goals. However their defence is inexperienced and slack, this is where we can expose them.

Playing Bremen is very tricky IMO, as we need to prevent them from scoring. On their day they can demolish any team possible, so I would say that we have to shut their midfield down, so that their passes wouldn't reach to Klose/Klansic/Micoud, this is where Emerson/Vieira/Thuram/Canna has to stop them hard, and we should create as many chances as possible to make their defence look foolish. It is important to take the 1st goal of the game as well and win the game, so that the game at the Delle Alpi can be "played more comfortably"

About individual players, stop Micoud from passing the ball around. He has the highest assists to his name in the CL campaign. Klose has strong aerial ability, and strong marking is needed. Klansic is another dangerous striker, strong marking is needed. The midfield has to shut down both Borowski and Frings. Since Lyon can thrash them 3 - 0 and 7 -2, it should be of no problem for Juve. But the most important thing is that we shouldn't be complacent, juz like in the Bayern game where we r killed.

As I always say, let's kill them
Even though it is easy to say, but I really think that we should remove our complacent attitude and fully prepare for this game, as Werder's defence is their main weakness, so we should exploit them, especially in the wings.

At this stage of a competition such as the Champions League complacency is equivalent to ignorance. We must not underestimate Werder, that's for sure. They are a capable side with talented players and even though we are good enough to beat them rather comfortably we need to be focussed and even respectful. I'm not sure that our ageing Thuram will be able to deal with Klose and Klasnic so we should aim to stop Bremen higher up the pitch. Emerson and Vieira need to take Borowski and Micoud out of the game because if they are able to feed their forwards on a consistent basis there could be trouble.
