Is there a second group phase after this one is over?
That was stopped a couple of years ago.

Good draw for Juventus.

The talk about rigging the draw has been brought up several times. I won't call it rigged in the meaning of the word, but UEFA have their seeding system and rules that are set there to manipulate draws. This helps a lot and this is unavoidable.

To be honest, I would like to see the return of the second group stage. Teams like Barca should have stuck around longer instead of going out to Chelsea in the first elimination round.

Indeed. I love it when they go: "AC Milan... well with all the rules, there's only one option left for them: GROUP A!!!"

:howler: Gotta love UEFA

Favourable draws for the Italians. Liverpool won't even make it out of the group stage with Chelsea and Betis to finish ahead of them in that section.

Today ESPN counted down the ten best goals of the past CL and they showed that goal Ronaldinho scored against Chelsea, where he recieved the ball, stopped it with one foot then did some samba for like second and a half, shot really hard and scored

I loved that goal

Luis Garcia's goal against us was #2

Was that Ronaldinho goal against Chelsea or at home against Milan in the group stage?

OK. I must have missed that one (not surprising given ESPN's pitifully weak coverage of the CL in the U.S., and yet they have exclusive rights). But I do remember a pretty fantastic goal he scored against Milan in the group stage at the Camp Nou that sounds a lot like your description also.
