LOL They're interviewing Theo Lucius from PSV on Dutch TV:

Commentator: "So you're paired with Milan again. Seedorf and his mates. Are you afraid?"

Lucius: "Not of Seedorf, no. The others though..."

I know, Anderlecht went out with 0 points last season and Betis didn't make a lasting impression on me the past seasons either :undecide:
Exactly plus two boring English teams

What the hell? What are the chances of that? We are drawn two years in a row with Bayern, AC Milan again with PSV, Inter Milan with Porto second year running, and the two semfinalists Chelsea and Liverpool drawn in the same group (as everybody was talking about and/or hoping for). Very strange draw I must say with all these rematches I listed above.

I also do not remember such an even draw in recent history...all the groups are basically equal in terms of big clubs and small clubs with exception to Group G that contains Liverpool, Chelsea, and Betis. But all the over groups have two clear-cut winners we can easily name.

The only thing I'm noticing about this draw is that the Champions League looks a bit weaker than it has in the past few years; more smaller clubs have infiltrated the competition. Brugge, Rapid Wien, FC Thun, Lille, Artmedia Bratislava, and Rangers are all clubs that have limited experiance in the competition. Even others such as Udinese, Villareal, and Betis are not the same as Roma, Valencia, and Deportivo in terms of history in Europe's premier club competition.

Speaking of Udinese, they have a chance of securing the second spot behind Barca. Werder is not as good as last year IMO and Panathinaikos can be very good or very bad each consecutive year. If Udinese can get some good results at home and one away to the Greek side, we might see them in the Knockout Stages. Hopefully.

And this draw really fvcking sucks for me...Chelsea and Liverpool is pretty much guaranteed to be aired twice in the States, and last year ESPN did not show any Juventus or Bayern matches until the Knockout stages. Fvck you ESPN.
