Any one planning on going to Anfield to see the match?
Wish to God that I could get to Europe for one of those matches again. It'd be glorious.
But I might be called at such short notice, so getting me a ticket ahead of time may be a waste.

O well, there's always the black market if I do get to go.

No Euro Derby For Adriano
3/21/2005 4:35:00 PM
The Brazilian striker will miss the first leg of the Champions League quarter final clash between Inter and Milan.
Adriano underwent further examinations on Monday morning following the injury he picked up during Inter-Fiorentina on Sunday, which confirmed earlier indications that the ‘Emperor’ will have to be sidelined for 20 days.

The tests have in fact highlighted that Adriano will need to observe a week of rest and therapy and then further examinations will be carried out. Due to the player’s strong physique and therefore long rehabilitation, the Brazilian phenomenon is not expected to be back in time for the first leg of the Champions League quarter finals and will most likely sit on the bench for the second leg.

The former Fiorentina and Parma striker explained on the Nerazzurri’s website how he felt when he got injured during the match against the Viola.

“It was a strange sensation; I cannot even say that I felt a strong pain. However I knew straight away that I was unable to continue. And it was disappointing, because I wanted to continue helping the squad.

“I will do my best to return as soon as possible, so to help Inter for the remaining part of the season.”

inter will qualify. then face lyon and will loose. so The final will be juve and lyon.
With a shattered defence + the absence of Adriano?
The absence of Adriano has already created enough trouble for Inter to defeat Milan, let alone a draw. Unless Adriano does superbly in the 2nd round, I don't see Inter beating Milan any day.
