OMG! That should be 3-1!! That's 2 versus keeper situation! But the defender just cleared the ball off the line!
Yeah stupid Javier Zanetti should have passed the ball to Martins there. Imbecile cost me some more Fantasy Football points. :groan:

Ya, Adrianos second goal was very nice. Not many players can hit it outside of the left like that, let alone hit a decent shot with their outside of left period, or pass I guess.

But then again, he is left footed.
Should have been 3 or 4-0, Costas goal was crap. Lucky by Toldo.

Saw that, haha ya. Crap finish.
actually its a very decent finish..the defender has to injure himself to awkiwardly clear the ball of the line....

although Zanetti should be more responsible and pass the ball to Martins...

Bring on Milan, says Moratti
Wednesday 16 March, 2005

Inter chief Massimo Moratti says he wants to face Juventus or Milan in the last eight of the Champions’ League.

The Nerazzurri booked their place in the quarter-finals with a 3-1 win over Porto last night and the owner now wants an all Italian tie.

"I would like Juventus or Milan which would give us a chance for revenge," Moratti stated, referring to the semi-final loss to the Rossoneri two years ago.

"While the team to avoid in Friday’s draw are Lyon because they have been playing together for some time."

Despite some difficulties, the Nerazzurri knocked the reigning champions out of Europe on Tuesday thanks to an Adriano hat-trick.

"I did suffer and I didn’t see the best Inter but we had the chances," added the former President.

"There seemed to be a lot of nervousness but I am happy for Adriano. He is untouchable and I hope that Real Madrid don’t contact us about him because they would be wasting their time."

Moratti also rubbished reports that boss Roberto Mancini could have been sacked if the team were eliminated.

"I’m not even thinking about changing Coach," he noted. "We have drawn a lot of games this season but we are playing better than in the past.

"We have a project for the future and I’m sure that we have what is needed to reach the European Cup Final this season."

The San Siro crowd also used last night’s match to express their thoughts on a possible Ronaldo return.

The Curva Nord chanted: "Ronaldo, we don’t want you." That was followed by a long round of applause by 70,000 at the San Siro.

The Real Madrid striker, who left the outfit in 2002, has recently suggested that he was ready to come back to Milan.
