Chelski - Barca was one heck of game but there is no way whatsoever Chelsea deserved to go through. I thought John Terry's goal was a bit too soft, and started to curse on Valdes. The replay, however, shows CLEARLY that Valdes was held by one of Chelsea players prior to Terry's header, which prevented Barca goalkeeper from making routine save. You can make an argument that Chelski played well blah blah blah but at the end of day they qualified next stage through blatant cheating and knowing Mourinho I wouldnt be surprised if this was planned before the match. I am starting to hate everything about Chelski - their coach, chairman who made living out of being a major thief, arrogant players, and worthless fans selling their souls for the glory.
As for Milan - Man U match, it was first class display by Milan in terms of defending. One would be hard to find right superlatives to describe Cafu, who can still run back and forth at his age. Cafu was constant threat in the attack while containing Giggs for the majority of the match. Stam was also in top form making his presence felt in the defence with winning all the headers, and clearances. But I think the quality that runs through in the Milan midfield just give them a edge over rest of the teams IMO. Kaka, Seedorf, Rino, Pirlo is arguably the best midfield combination ATM.
Nonetheless, without Sheva I think their attack is rather punchless and Crespo certainly isnt in an inspiring form despite scoring goals. His movement is too static and misses one too many chances for my liking.
