I've paid my dues -
Time after time -
I've done my sentence
But committed no crime -
And bad mistakes
I've made a few
I've had my share of sand kicked in my face -
But I've come through

We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fighting - till the end -
We are the champions -
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions - of the world -

I've taken my bows
And my curtain calls -
You brought me fame and fortuen and everything that goes with it
-
I thank you all -

But it's been no bed of roses
No pleasure cruise -
I consider it a challenge before the whole human race -
And I ain't gonna lose -

We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fighting - till the end -
We are the champions -
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions - of the world

English refs are better they let the game flow, unlikely european refs who give a free-kick every 10 seconds!
graham poll did it b4 with Arsenal ( henry's Contevertional foul) , that time when he obstructed someone at semi-final at old traford it was Arsenal but i can't remmber the other team.

Whats with the chants chxta???

Forever and Ever,
We'll follow the boys,
Of Manchester United,
The Busby Babes,
For we made a promise,
To defend our faith,
In Manchester United,
The Busby Babes.

We've all sworn allegiance,
To fight till we die,
To stand by United,
And the Red flag we fly,
There'll be no surrender,
We'll fight to the last,
To defeat all before us,
As we did in the past.

For we're Stretford Enders,
With United we grew,
To the famous Red Devils,
We're loyal and true,
To part-time supporters,
We'll never descend,
We'll never forsake you,
We'll be here to the end.

For we all remember,
That '58 day,
And the plane that once stood on,
That Munich runway,
As it tried to take off,
For the third fatal time,
The immortal young babes were,
Cut down in their prime.

In the cold snow of Munich,
They laid down their lives,
But they live on forever,
In our hearts and our minds,
Their names are now legend,
For the whole world to see.
Why this club's a religion,
Spelt M.U.F.C.

So bow down before them,
And lift up your eyes,
For Old Trafford's glory,
Will always survive.

Recoba and Davids dropped Tuesday 22 February, 2005

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alvaro Recoba and Edgar Davids have been left out of Inter’s squad for the Champions’ League tie at Porto.

Boss Roberto Mancini has named a 21-man party but has excluded the duo despite them being fully fit and available for selection.

The decision to drop Davids has raised few eyebrows given his difficulties at the San Siro this term.

The Dutchman arrived on a free transfer in the summer but has failed to establish himself in Mancio’s first team plans.

But the omission of Recoba (pictured) has shocked many in the peninsula on Tuesday, especially when you consider Inter’s attacking problems.

Adriano hasn’t scored a goal since December, while both Obafemi Martins and Christian Vieri have just recovered from injury.

There are even claims that Mancini has ‘punished’ Recoba for his disappointing display in the 1-1 draw at Udinese on Saturday.

Andy Van der Meyde returns to the squad, while Marco Materazzi is expected to replace Sinisa Mihajlovic in defence.

Cristiano Zanetti will start in midfield, while the attacking duo should be formed by Adriano and Martins.

Inter (squad): Toldo, Carini, Impagnatiello; Cordoba, Burdisso, J Zanetti, Mihajlovic, Zé Maria, Favalli, Materazzi; Emre, C Zanetti, Van der Meyde, Veron, Kily González, Cambiasso, Stankovic; Cruz, Adriano, Martins, Vieri.

Inter (probable): Toldo; J Zanetti, Mihajlovic, Cordoba, Favalli; Veron, Cambiasso, C Zanetti, Stankovic; Adriano, Martins
