I hope Arsenal get knocked out in the first round, while continuing their unbeaten run in England. That'd say alot
That would be great actually. My thesis that Arsenal are not good enough to win Europe and that the EPL is by far not the best league in the world would be undisputedly correct. ;)

Good that I came here first and read your post, I would die watching highlights first, without that warning.

The second half was disaster

Inter really surprised me.

5 goals to current Spanish and UEFA Champion's net!

I wonder what Claudio Ranieri is thinking about.
He's probably thinking about Roman Abramovich :undecide:

It was an enjoyable match, with the Spaniards unfortunate not to come away with anything, after hitting the woodwork twice. It was a pleasure to see that there were very few fouls considering the calibre of the attacking talent on display.

Nice header by Sheva, but you have to admit that Victor Valdes was at fault for the goal, after rushing out and leaving himself off his line and unable to make contact with the ball from the cross.

It was interesting to see Kaka make some disastrous backpasses :)

From Rosenborg - PSV:

"First Park was booked for a ‘foul’ on a Rosenborg player and this controversial decision was to have nasty consequence for the South Korean, who would not harm a fly"

He got sent off with 2 minutes left in the match :(

I still don't understand why Rijkaard refused, and still refuses, to use Rustu Recber. I know he said he would not use Rustu until he learned espanol, but I don't think it was a good decision by Frank. Rustu was worthy of a starting role, but he still sits on the bench in the favor of a mistake-prone youngster.

Valdes made some good saves, but you're right, Recber's more experienced and a good keeper. I think it's quite silly saying he wouldn't play him for that kind of reason... I mean what difference does it really make? You could say that he has to bark commands, but it's not like he can't get the message across with body language

Refuses? Rustu doesnt play for Barca anymore, he is back to Fenerbahçe, he didnt want to play as sub and asked the owner or boss of Fenerbahçe to let him back there.
