I can tell you one thing, no English team will win the Champions League, besides the possibilty of Chelsea. Arsenal will fall before the Quarterfinals, and Man Utd will only reach the Semifinals if that.

I can't believe it. APOEL my football club and champions of Cyprus, were beating Sparta Prague 2-0 and we got equalized in the last 10 minutes.

It was a very unfair result, as APOEL was better than the CL regulars.
The team was very determined and inspired by the Greek in the Euro and wanted to do a suprise b entering in the CL for the first time in Cyprus history, but things look really tough now.

The damn spanish referee, not only he didn't help the home side, but didn't give away two clear penalties for APOEL and made a lot of mistakes generally. This is a shame as if APOEL qualifies he will be in the group of the strong teams.

The setting up of the groups for the third round has been made earlier now, and as sparta is one of the strong teams, if we qualify by mistake we have a great chance of entering the CL, a dream for a team for Cyprus.

:( That's football i guess

how about conceeding two goals in the last 2 mins. :groan:
:wallbang: That's gotta hurt. Reminds me of Man U's CL final win over Bayern. That must've been truly heartbreaking for Bayern fans.

In Manure-Bayern goals were scored on 90th and 93nd minutes if I remember correctly.

In this year's France-England Zidane scored on 92nd and 93rd to win it 2-1. :)
