Its good to see Liverpool win..... I think they will play Milan in the final and hopefully they can win again....

Best scenario is if PSV can somehow overturn Milan's advantage and make the final and finally beating Liverpool on penalties...

Are PSV better then Depor? Compare Depor of last season to PSV of this season, who are better?
How many teams were better than Greece in the EURO? I say many.

Who won the cup? Something similar to that goes to last year's Porto

I want Milan in the final only to lose it to Liverpool in a penalty shootout. That's the best scenario in my script.
It doesn't matter, it is just good to see them lose a final.

That still is a lesser evil than Liverpool winning it. Milan deserve it afterall.

and Liverpool doesn't?? we've played with guts and heart every bloody match-how can you say that a Liverpool win in the final is any less deserved than Milan?? Pool have gone in against teams that are clearly superior in talent and star power, yet have come out ahead every time. sure, it isn't the most beautiful soccer ever, but wouldn't you like it if Juve had shown those qualities and made it to the final?

I agree with Freddy :D but I have to say the idea of ending the final in a penalty shoot-out sucks, no matter who wins or loses. imho it almosts cheapens the whole thing to decide it like that.

Ahhh, but unlike, say, Liverpool this year, Porto at least dominated their play in their domestic league. And while a dark horse next to Milan, Porto played as a cohesive team (as did Greece), but the caliber of their players last season was top notch: Carvalho was at the height of his game, Maniche before he was "discovered" by many others until the EURO, Deco, etc. And unlike Greece, Porto did their work without heavy reliance on the 1-0 and 0-0 scoreline (besides the Depor semifinal), 10-men-in-the-box defense, and set-pieces-as-offense to get through.

But I do find something of a double-standard here compared with last season. A lot of people on this forum were of the attitude that, "This CL is a joke... the best teams have been eliminated... I'm not going to watch it, because if you're watching a golf championship you'd want to see Tiger Woods in it at the top of his game..." :blah:

This year there's a lot more, "Cool! Liverpool won over Chelsea!... Go PSV!... This CL is great!", etc.

Question: Is it possible that PSV Knock AC Milan Outta The CL?
Well I say yes. Milan will have to defend really well to avoid an early goal and play their part on couter-attacks. But I believe PSV can win this one.
