All of them quite good. Even Soule had a good 2nd half campaign. In the last 7 Roma Serie matches he made 2 goals and 4 assists.
There were some who were obviously not good enough. Miretti, Soule, Iling and Fagioli for example.

But then the ones not even getting chances because of the above go elsewhere and take off...makes you wonder.

I don't recall much appreciation for him while he was playing here.
He was out of the team for almost a whole season due to injury, he went on loan to Frosinone and his duration there was not impressive. I don't give him a high rate, mediocre in my book. But he could do the same as what Luiz doing with much less pay.
And of course we paid 50 m for Luiz!!

He got that ACL while still in NG. He appeared a few times under Allegri. At Frosinone he was solid but as you said, nothing spectacular.

And we didn't pay 50mln cash for Luiz, it was around 25mln plus Iling and Barrenechea. I don't have to mention most of Juve fans were very pleased with that deal at the time. Everybody can act smart after the fact.

I mean, selling him wasn't a bad idea with that injury record and inconsistent performance, but bringing in Luiz as his replacement was a poor decision.

If you can say one thing, we are starting to produce quality players, gone are the days where we had Rigonis, Padalinos, Masiellos. This alone should be celebrated. Yes we've sold bad, and that seriously needs attention, but in a year or two we will have another few shining stars ready to promote.

Let's hope we will keep producing those players and that their potential and quality will also keep going up. Unfortunately, it might be unstable and we can witness some dry periods.
