    A golden era of success.

Just like the previos 4 golden eras.

As David Goldblatt says in The Football Year Handbook 2004/2005, Juve, la Vecchia Signora, has an extraordinary record. In every decade since the 1920's, it has won the domestic championship; it has won every European competition going: and along with the glory, the club has earned the distaste and envy of every other team in the country.

The next new and exciting stage of the Juventus story will unfold in the next few weeks.

Meanwhile let's just concentrate on Bari this Sunday. I'm in Salenro and going over to to see the lads on Sunday. What a backdrop to the seasons closer!!

Well it's logical their resignation hasn't been accepted yet, but I have a feeling it will be.

Everything will be decided on June 29th. Until then, everybody stays.

    Galliani resists resignation calls
    Thursday 11 May, 2006
TheJuventus Triade and the FIGC President have resigned over the transcript scandal, but Adriano Galliani resists calls to quit the Lega Calcio.

“Every day there is a new allegation,” said the Milan vice-President who is also President of the League – similar to a union of Serie A and B clubs.

“It’s like hunting season. There is talk in the newspaper of telephone taps, betting scandals and pressure on Coaches to pick certain players, but this makes it difficult to tell the false rumours from the real investigations.”

Juventus are at the centre of the initial scandal, as transcripts of alleged telephone conversations between director general Luciano Moggi and various other people, including refereeing designator Pierluigi Pairetto and his son Alessandro Moggi, the head of the GEA agency, were published in the Italian Press.

“All I’ll say is that if someone has made a mistake, then they will pay, but football will recover from this. Up until now, it’s all rumour and conjecture, not facts. I don’t think anyone should jump to conclusions or rush to condemn. This season’s Scudetto is not sub judice, it will be assigned regularly.”

The entire Juventus Board of Directors resigned this evening over the scandal and over the past few days both FIGC President Franco Carraro and vice-President Innocenzo Mazzini also quit.

Today Lega Calcio vice-President Maurizio Zamparini called for Galliani to follow in what would be a total restructuring of Italian football.

“The Lega has expressed its intention to go towards a radical change, not just in the Federation, but also the Lega itself,” noted Zamparini, who is also patron of Palermo.

“It should be put in the hands of an external caretaker President. We’ve discussed this option many times and everyone agrees on it except Galliani.”

The Milan transfer guru was quick to dismiss these calls to resign his post in charge of the Lega Calcio.

“This is the first I’ve heard of it,” said Galliani. “We have never talked about the possibility of my resignation during the meetings of all the clubs, so this is a personal view taken by Zamparini. I am amazed and don’t see why I should quit, especially as resigning is a sign of weakness in Italy. There’s no reason for me to go now.”

Instead, Galliani proposed a 'Code of Ethics’ for football, which was approved unanimously by the clubs in today’s meeting.

No, they haven't been accepted yet, we'll know only on June 29th. Till then the board will remain in its place and continue to do its ordinary job.

Juventus passed through rough times and managed to get over their troubles and eventually started winning again.

so lets keep the faith in the team and hope that la famiglia would find a solution that will be the best for the team in the years to come.

remember that we are juventus fans not moggi's,giraudo's,capello's,..........

since moggi and company r still at juve until june 29, that means he can still technically be active in the transfer market this summer up until that date, right? i expect him to make a super deal since it will be his last.

So from your first post is this a possibility:
the members of the board gave their resignation and resignations get accept. BUT according to you the TRIADE will stay till a new boardis formed and they then decide if they want to stay with the triade or change them.

    Is this what will happen?

A massive shock, I know some expected it but certainly a little early, its sad to see so many liked faces leaving. Its really sad the circumstance in which they are leaving in. I really dont have much words for this...I fear this is a sign of a downfall for us, maybe there is some truth to these scandals which is why they prefer resigning and saving some dignity (especially moggi). Unbelievable stuff...:stress: To say all of them leaving isnt a good sign in my eyes, I would love to have atleast one of them around but I guess the three musketeers dont work that way. This really could mean something new at Juve, I fear a little to new. Whoever succedes them I hope they can adapt well.

IS THERE ANY HORRIFIC CHANCE OF US BEING DEMOTED TO THE LOWER DIVISIONS??
There is a chance, but it's extremely unlikely. The whole drug scandal was a much more clear case then this.

I don't know if you're talking to me, but:
If the resignations get accepted, Moggi, Giraudo and Bettega won't be part of the board anymore, but will remain employees of Juventus FC Spa, just as Romeo the locker-keeper man. The new board will decide if fire or keep these employees.

    ..

Since C.Zanetti has decided not to move to Juve..is it possible that Marchionni will decide against moving here?
