Ok, every time the Euro or the World Cup comes up, we here from media, specifically the British Media, that England are going to take the gold, they are going all the way.

Well, to this I say, "Suck my weiner." The English have not won any major European or world championship in almost 40 years. Why is this? Because they think that the fact that a pretty homo can captain their team to victory. I am stating right now, if England get within the top 10 at the World Cup in Germany in 2006, I will hang myself with a shoestring from a pair of Beckham queered up Predators.

In all seriousness though, from what I have seen thus far, the English really believe in their team, probably a little too much. The Italians seem more eager to criticise their squad instead of praising them to the death, is this perhaps a better way to support your side by staying objective? England surely have a chance to win the upcoming World Cup, however a lot of the labels they have received are unjustified, especially from a country that has only won the Cup once. Saying England will surely win it is much different from stating this Cup is all Brazil's..

Is that so...

I need a contract. I am a good actor. Physically fit, willing to act the stupid African general in Tears Of The Sun :D for a few extra dollars.

Can you hook me up?

Holland is another one that never gets anything to show for their beautiful football.

But yeah I agree, the English do not realize that who they call their "most important" player (Beckham) is the most overrated player on the planet and they've got a goalkeeper who can't hold onto a ball to save his life.

Only guys I respect on that team are Defoe and Terry.

Actually, Burke and I were lucky enough to meet England's best players, Lampard, Terry, Sean Wright-Phillips, and Joe Cole. I must say I do have some respect for those guys cuz they could have just walked back in to their bus instead of meeting the fans. Terry seemed like a good guy though. Him and Lampard are the only English players I like.

Oh yeah...forgot about Wright-Phillips...he's alright too...well more than alright.

I've never met a football player...not even back in Egypt...just saw a few from a distance...that's pretty sad.

Well said, but at least the keeper now is better than David SEAMEN!

bollocks, italians also think they're capable of winning but when they dont they blame everyone around but themselves.

Just look at that, England hasn't even made a final in over 40 years, and the only time England won the WC was when it was in FVCKING England!
and with the fake goal of Geof Hurst that shouldn't be accepted by the ref :groan:

Steven Gerarrd is a good player too. He showed much respect for the Milan players after beat them in CL last season. Good leadership he has. But good players in a football club doesn't mean a guarantee to be succeed in NT.
