Newcastle signing Yanga-Mbiwa, Haidara, they're interested in Sissoko and already signed Debuchy.

Dafuq, the English stopped spending their money on overrated EPL players and are signing quality players from Ligue 1 now? QPR got Remy and are chasing M'vila.

Yanga-Mbiwa, I remember meelan wanted him in the summer. He is going to cost 10M for Newcastle, where do these clubs get such kind of money from.

QPR have rich owners.

Newcastle, I imagine, are still sitting quite nicely after the Carroll sale.

There is a lot of money in the Premier League to begin with, and some of these teams are spending loads to ensure they are still around when the new TV deal kicks in next season.

Hadn't they bought last years squad from Carroll's sale?

It's insane though, 3/4th of Newcastle starting line-up could be French now

Krul
Debuchy - Yanga-Mbiwa - Collocini - Haidara
Sissoko - Cabaye - Tiote
Ben Arfa - Cisse - Marveux/Obertan

Remy has been poor for a while. Now he's on 80k a week on a team that will most likely get relegated.

Newcastle purchase inexpensive players and hope they'll work out. They did last season but Newcastle have been shit this year and might also get relegated.

Net spend last season was ~11m according to their wikipedia page, this season it looks like it might be a couple of million so far.
Newcastle's owner is a prick and doesn't make player sales cash available.

Fvckin hell, Mbiwa is a quality signing for them. I guess he'll be Coloccini's replacement. If they manage to convince the latter to stay however, they'd have a very formidable center back pairing.

Haidara is a very ordinary player, don't see what Newcastle will benefit from him, unless Santon is leaving. Or maybe they'll play Santon on the right and keep Haidara on the left.

Imagine Newcastle getting relegated though. Those Frenchies will be gone like the wind.

It's insane, look what Pardew said some time ago:

West Ham boss Alan Pardew has hit out at Arsene Wenger for not fielding an English player in Arsenal's Champions League win against Real Madrid.

"I saw a headline saying Arsenal are flying the flag for Britain," he said. "I kind of wondered where that British involvement actually was when I looked at their team."

"it's important clubs, especially top clubs, don't lose sight of the that it's the English Premier League and English players should be involved."

Pardew added: "foreign players have been fantastic. We have learned from them and from foreign coaches. But, to some extent, we could lose the soul of British football - the English player."

"We have a young team at West Ham and we are proud we have so many Englishmen. The soul of this team will remain with at least three or four English players as long as I am West Ham. I think that's important, I really do."
