seriously , i am not a great fan of suarez's carachter , but i wouldn't say anything about that , i would actually have insulted him if he hadnd't done it if he was playing for my team . You are at the quarter finals in the fucking world cup , you do everything to win , as long as you don't make killer tackles (where you harm your opponent) everything is fine with me . Stopping the ball with a hand , fouling the last player going torwards goal , scoring with a hand ect . With that action he permitted his team to go through , i bet he is considered a hero for that in uruguay

Can't be done with people getting all righteous about these things.

I bet they also can't stand Maradona for his goal against England, Henry for his handball, Zidane for his headbutt and so on.. Oh wait, this guys are legends.

It's just silly really, at the highest level all you want to do is win and reach glory. A handball is against the rules but so is diving for example and players like Drogba, Ronaldo, Ribery, Bale, Nani, Young, Robben dive all the time but nobody makes a scandal out of it.

Zidane and his headbutt did nothing but hurt his own team, unlike the others who are cunts. I dislike Henry the most because he directly cheated, wasn't around when Maradona did his thing so I can't say.

But fuck Henry, in the ass with a handgranade.

Great example of the English hypocrisy.

Rooney for swearing at the comera V West Ham.....They wanted him hung, and banned.

For kicking out at that defender for England V serbia.....they wanted his 3 game poxy ban reduced or quashed.

That's the FA against the Premier League, not the same.

Replace him with Materazzi who provoked him, i bet people in italy don't care, he's just good old matrix with a stroke of evil genius.

It was a foreigner he kicked, so that was fine.

What, that people will become hypocrites to suit their own interests? Hardly an exclusively English thing.
Agreed. But perhaps if people embraced that as a part of human nature we could evade all this circus.

It really is something that 99.9% players would do (Klose being the 0,1%) so maybe, just maybe, we should be criticizing the refs for not doing their job properly.

Seems to be a big English trait.
You'd find the same anywhere, fans are biased towards their teams, be it club or country.

Besides, I know plenty of England fans who dislike big players from rival club teams even when they are playing for the national team. Gerrard seems particularly disliked, probably because he always seemed to save the best for Liverpool.

I nearly got my head kicked in at a Scotland game for abusing Rangers players. :D

Then again, England have had plenty of scapegoats over the years.

I suppose it was only Interisti Italians who jumped up when this happened ;)

I bet Scotland has some special cases :D How are the Celtic players treated? I'd pat them on the back for not pretending to be Irish.

Varies between players depending on whether they are a prick and whether they are seen to be fully committed to playing for Scotland.

Not entirely sure how many of the Tims who played for Scotland had the choice between the two.
