Rangers fans who would take offence at that song will quite happily sing about being 'up to their knees in Fenian blood,' though.

They aren't taking a stance against offensive chanting, which would be an understandable position - they just don't want people to say nasty things to them.

Yeah, well, I'm not defending Rangers fans in particular here, I'm just saying it's understandable that some people will take such songs to heart. Anyway, I've expressed my opinion. Still somewhat disappointed you would "tar" all Leeds fans with the same brush, though. I have a soft spot for that club and I've met tons of Leeds supporters, both scandinavian and english, during my visits to Elland Road, and it's simply not true that they're all similar to the disgusting young man we saw tonight.

Those songs are regular stuff at matches in England ... nothing to be put in center of media attention. It also happens all-around the globe ... for example Viola fans sing about Heysel every fckin time when we play against them.

That Leeds fan will get some serious fine, and will face consequences he could only imagine before this.

Hope that Leeds will get promoted soon. I always liked that club.
