Man Utd were absolutely abysmal in that half. I think they had about one attempt on goal and a couple of meaningful attacks. They looked completely disinterested.
Liverpool won't have had a better chance to get the upper hand on them, but now with the red card they have a much tougher game on their hands.
I think the red was correct, although I have seen yellows for them. Those challenges now are basically outlawed as dangerous no matter contact with the man or ball. Shelvey seems to have had a chip on his shoulder since the first whistle and was constantly arguing with the referee before that lunge.
