Fuck off Giroud you mediocre shit.

Santi had a good debut, made two amazing passes that Giroud and Theo managed to miss. Arteta was providing the balance in the middle of the park as always. Gervinho was making things happen today. Theo was poor, so was Podolski.

We need to be more clinical to beat teams like Sunderland.
I'm afraid you will see others mark the heck outta cazorla as well as cattermole did today, plus defend deep. Only one to make opening passes. Gervinho did well dribbling vs a wall of defenders but as usual he can't produce afterwards.

It was an horrible miss, but you're knee jerking here, Fred.
I'm not knee jerking. I don't think very highly of him. If he was brought as cover, i'd say thats a good signing, but if we are intending to play him as our first choice, then i don't think its such a good move.

Ya, i think for a player playing his debut in a completely new league he did very well today, i really think one of his two passes should have been a goal. Theo and Podolski missed one, while Giroud missed the other.

He looks like he's going to be an ace signing though.

At this point, I don't know if he'll make it either, but you should at least give him time; it will surely depends on whether he get his first goal early in the campaign or not. The quicker he gets it, the quicker it will relieve some pressure - and god knows there is, as he's replacing an important player.

He's no Van Persie, so I guess it's normal to feel that way, but he's still a good player.

I am willing to give him time, but misses like today's miss is not acceptable under any circumstance, he should have at least hit the target.

On a more Song related note: Watch Wenger make no signings to replace Song. I'm sure he won't pay what Rennes want for M'Vila.

He performed as I expected him to Fred, spread plays and see a lot of the ball, like pirlo does for us. Problem was rest were too slow with possession, gave Sunderland time to defend with everyone.

Ben Arfa is a joy to watch really. He just showed his quality in bursts today, amazing close ball control.

Btw, Harry Redknapp is a pundit at Abu Dhabi Sports now, interesting seeing him in the studio :D

Amazing goal by Demba Ba, i think he is without question a quality striker, he's been proving it consistently. Really difficult goal to score, kudos to him.

Decent player but to call him really special (atleast from that clip) is odd.

17 year old dictatating a game like xavi and Pirlo, with great vision and touch is very impressive.

An English kid with genuine European like technique, rather than your big physical typical English style player we over-rate.

Not on this evidence he won't.

Somebody bothered to make this video!
If that was an Italian kid dictating a game like that, he would be called the next Pirlo, and fap galir would be going on.
