I never understood why Hodgson bought Pouslen. He was never a fit for the league.
Well, he coached him in Copenhagen, so maybe he just didn't live up to the expectations. When he was at his best, he would have been a dominant player in Premier League. Like he was in Germany, Spain and Champions League.

Benitez started this shit with brainless transfers
He was hit or miss but did very well at times. Xabi, Sissoko, Pepe, Luis Garcia, Torres, Agger, Skrtel, Aurelio, Lucas, Crouch are all good players.

Then you have Aquilani, Keane, Gonzalez, Zenden, Pennant, N'Gog, Babel, etc.

By the way where is Banitez now?
Lives in Liverpool.

Yeah he was great at Shalke and Sevilla, but in Spain he played a lot of CB, would have taken a punt at that.

They are dead material, plus Zenden, Riera, Dossena, Degen etc.

Spurs will have a great team this season, but they lack depth at winger position. If Dembele can cover the central mid along with Moutinho, they'd have a great 4-3-3, Barcelona-like.

Other than that - Lloris; Walker, Kaboul, Verthongen, Ekotto; Sandro, Moutinho, Dembele; Bale, Lennon, Adebayor

Here's what Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas had to say about Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy regarding Spurs's move for Hugo Lloris. It is not particularly complimentary: "We have had people speaking all night with Daniel Levy. He talks a lot and goes back on what we've agreed in writing.

"The things as they were at 5am were not the same at 10am. I think we have to make sure we get a certain amount of value because it's important that Hugo can go to a quality club that allows him to do himself justice from a value point of view, so that he can feel right about it.

"At the moment we're talking about whether he can come back to say his goodbyes to the supporters, to his team-mates, so we can honour him, this truly great player and brilliant man. I would put it at 50-50 that Hugo goes to Tottenham. Although from the outset we've submitted to agreements I would now put it at 50-50 that he'll be going there.

"Agreements have not at all been respected. We've done what we can. Hugo has been troubled by the difficulty in these negotiations."

Levy is a cunt.

Anyway, I'd like to sell Sturridge only if we get another striker (Remy, Schurrle) but isn't he in Monaco?

I don't like Danny at all, too selfish and not that much skill to compensate for it.
