I guess you didn't watch either game :)
I watched Wigan-Chelsea, I was out last night.

I don't get carried away when talented unknowns come into a league, it takes a while for opposition players to figure them out, especially in a league with such shit dumb defenders.

And no, this isn't me saying I don't rate Hazard.

I didn't say that you weren't rating him. My point was just that anything Chelsea did right in these two games Hazard inspired, the rest of the team are cack so far. Chelsea are in for a rough ride if defenders indeed figure Hazard out.

I thought Chelsea were really poor against Wigan, to be honest. Wigan creating so many chances against them, it reminded me of AVBs spell. Clearly they weren't all that great last night, either. But early in the season you get some odd performances and results.

Sahin saga takes new twist with Liverpool set to beat Arsenal to loan of midfielder

The on-going transfer saga of Real Madrid's Nuri Sahin has taken another twist as Liverpool and not Arsenal look set to land the midfielder.

The player's agent, Reza Fazeli, travelled to meet the Anfield club’s hierarchy and iron out the details of the deal.

On Monday it looked as if a deal had been done to take the player from the Bernabeu to Arsenal but Madrid changed the course of events when it told the playmaker that the Gunners were unwilling to accept a loan deal and were pushing for a permanent transfer.

And neither Madrid nor Sahin himself were happy with this arrangement.
And now Liverpool, who were the first club to show an interest in the player look to be back in the driving seat.

Brendan Rodgers will guarantee him a place in the starting line-up and Sahin looks to approve a switch to Anfield on Tuesday, leading his representative to undertake his whirlwind trip to complete the deal.

Liverpool wants to make the move official on Thursday, provided it can tie up any loose ends with the player

.............

Lucas-Allen-Sahin..Damn thats an awesome midfield..I would actually like to see him at Pool rather than Arsenal.

Queens Park Rangers are in talks to sign the Internazionale goalkeeper Júlio César.

The Brazil international was a key part of the Italian side's Champions League win two years ago but now looks likely to leave San Siro.

Samir Handanovic arrived from Udinese this summer and César has been allowed to speak to other clubs about a move.

Tottenham have been linked with the 32-year-old Inter goalkeeper, but it is understood that QPR are in talks with him. The London club's technical director Mike Rigg is speaking to César's representatives to see whether a move to Loftus Road can be pushed through.

The news comes just days after summer signing Rob Green's blunder set Swansea on course for a surprise 5-0 victory at QPR.

The defeat has led to the manager Mark Hughes stepping up his search for defensive reinforcements, and talks with the Tottenham club captain Michael Dawson and Real Madrid's Ricardo Carvalho are understood to be ongoing.
