Manchester City set to swoop for £3.5m Real Madrid youngster Pozo

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ty-sign-Jose-Angel-Pozo-Real-Madrid-3-5m.html

Manchester City are set to finalise the potential £3.5m signing of 15-year-old Real Madrid starlet Jose Angel Pozo.
He will sign a five-year deal on March 15, his 16th birthday.

good to see the child-trafficking trade is still alive and well in Manchester :disagree:

seriously, f**k these two clubs with a rusty fork

What exactly is your problem with the transfer? Madrid are getting a huge fee for someone of that age, it's not like they're stealing him for 100,000 euro tribunal

Yeah, it's not one of these ones where the English club is pinching the player due to them being able to sign professional terms in England younger than many other places, I don't think.

oh I don't know, maybe the fact that he is 15 years old? I personally don't think it's right, imagine the pressure on this kid.

In that case, yes well unfortunately it's a part of the sporting world :s It's tough, 15 year old kids are treated almost as commodities. But that's life. Hopefully he won't be put under too much pressure because of the money involved; I know at some clubs (liverpool specifically) they don't allow player details and names for the U-16 and younger teams to be released to the press, which helps keep some of the pressure off the kids. Dunno about citteh though

I'd love to be treated as a commodity if that makes me a millionaire.

Pressure? 15 year old kid? Bullshit, the guy has a choice between playing for Real and playing for Liverpool at the age of 15. Pressure my arse, the guy is living the dream.

Adidas have decided sponsoring Liverpool isn't value for money (though wouldn't surprise me if it's to do with their handling of the Suarez thing), so Liverpool now have a whopping big new kit deal with some company I've never heard of.

It has nothing to do with the Suarez. We signed the Warrior(Boston based Company) deal last year. I think it's the largest kit sponsorship ever deal in the Prem.
