Balotelli is bound to fuck up & cause a scene, it's his nature. Plus, Citeh won't stop the reckless spending until UEFA enforces their new regulations. As for Boateng, that was a rarity & Bayern were eager to snap him up despite the figure.
Word, so would then Milan gamble on such a high fee that City would still demand? Despite his sillyness he's still one of the biggest talents in the game and the way the market is with inflated prices City can afford to demand what they like, as shown by the Tevez saga.

Bet your ass they would, despite being a tool, he's got the goods to succeed & i'm pretty sure Berla/Galliani would love to screw Moratti over once again.
I forgot Zola the magician. I simply loved Chelsea when they had Zola, Di Matteo, Casiraghi(even if it was one match) & Vialli. Gustavo Poyet, Dennis Wise, Dan Petrescu, Marcel Desailly & Franck Leboeuf really brought some excitement to the EPL.

Bah, I remember when Chelsea forgot their away shirt and traveled to Coventry, they had to wear Coventry's away kit, and City beat them. Leboeuf took the shirt off and threw it down in disgust when the final whistle went
I also remember Dion Dublin absolutely battering Desailly in his first Chelsea game in the season opener, City won that game too
Actually, I found a pic of Zola in that game in 1997:
I used to give a shit about the PL in those days, naturally.

I remember that match clearly. But they thought it wasn't an issue because of the different shades of blue. I simply loved Chelsea then, one of the first teams to bring in Serie A talents. I used to love it when Vialli would get frustrated on the sideline & then sub himself in. I can't remember which match it was but he scored the winning goal shortly afterwards & made a gesture about scoring goals to the bench.

True Chelsea was my fav EPL club back then. When they won Cup Winners Cup in 1998 I celebrated it like it was Juve I liked that Chelsea with soul, this silicon one is awful
Dublin was a monster though, scored so many goals, him leaving (as well as Keane > Bellamy) basically relegated Cov just as the crazy money came in. Ho hum, at least Juve is a constant
