Southampton were in League 1 last season but yes he is good, not as fast as Walcott (although he is fast) but he reads the game a lot better. Basically he has a football brain, he's stronger too.

And no, he won't turn Arsenal into a title contender :D

Talking about young Championship players to watch, keep an eye out for this lad:

His name is Gael Bigirimana, he's from Burundi but would qualify as a British player, plays for my local team Coventry City and he's 17 years old. He had been talked up a lot in the youth system and pre season but he started in the opening first team game against Sven Goran Eriksson's highly fancied big spenders Leicester City and he was man of the match. I've never seen such a good debut from a young player at home, and we have had several players go onto to play in the PL. He ran the midfield and has a great pass, dribbling, technique and vision. He needs to bulk up more but you can just see quality when it arrives, even Leicester fans were impressed, thought he was a strong signing from France.

@blondu

He's back in training at City, but wouldn't be surprised to see Inter worm a sly deal. Hopefully he stays, more trouble for City and less quality for Inter :D

Another "wonderkid" i am beginning to hate is Ramsey, i think Wenger is going to keep faith with him, when we sell Cesc. So he probably won't sign a replacement. Problem is when Cesc got injured last season, Ramsey got his chance, and he's proven that he isn't up to the task of replacing Cesc. Limited player imo, extremely overrated.

Most probably we are yes. Unless Wenger makes 2-3 signings before the end of August, we all know its not going to happen, so ya we're probably out of the top four.

Arsenal to fall out of the top four?

I see it ending like this:

Manchester United
Chelsea
Manchester City
Tottenham
Arsenal
Everton
Terrible season for Liverpool?

I'd enjoy that.

I think Man City will finish second, unless Chelsea make a couple of good signings.
