Nick, do you know anything about David Gonzalez of Man City?

Aberdeen are meant to be close to agreeing a loan deal for him.

I've only seen him twice with the reserves kept clean sheets in both games but I can't give you a complete report on his ability. I know he went to Leeds on loan in January. Grayson said he liked his attitude and abilities.

However City look like they're adamant of just loan moves for him so that shows you that he's on their mind for the future or they've yet to get the right offer for him.

We're in a slightly awkward situation just now.

Our first choice 'keeper had a seizure a few weeks ago and, though all seems to be fine, it's likely to be September/October before he gets the all clear to train fully and play again.

We released our second choice 'keeper, so we will sign a backup 'keeper on a permanent deal and a decent 'keeper on loan to play until Langfield is fit at least.

Wolves and West Brom both asked about him aswell. Wolves had a bid turned down for around 2 Million. This comes from the guy I know in the club.

They won both of those two games aswell :p

However with other clubs showing interest without him really playing an official game it does not look a bad move for you.

Woah first time I hear that Langfield had a seizure.

Viktor Obinna was decent with West ham, raped the shit out of us and created 4 goals in the league cup match, he also had a hattrick in an FA cup match but he wasn't very consistent. Surprised that no other Premier league team tried to sign him.

Does Villas Boas really enjoy being compared to Mourinho all the time? I guess taking over Chelsea wont really make those comparisons disappear.
