What a terrible tackle it was by Carragher. How the ref didn't send him off is beyond me.

Stupid Kuyt was arguing that it was a dive and Liverpool fans were booing Nani when he was going to leave the pitch :yuck:
Almost as good as when the wonderful Liverpool fans attacked Alan Smith's ambulance after he had his ankle broken at Anfield.

The refereeing in the EPL is absolutely horrid, yesterdays ref in our game was terrible too, he did not give us a clear penalty and he wrongly disallowed an Arshavin goal for offside.
:agree:

Did you see Wolves-Spurs?

How on earth was Hutton not sent off for the penalty and why was the Wolves goal disallowed?

Just because a player jumps with the 'keeper, does not mean it is a foul.

Most of you here if not all in fact probably hasnt even been to a football match in your life, so sit and type ridiculous bollocks about fans. From what you see on tv or hear what others say?

Not wanting to cause a stir up here but im interested to find as to why?
Seconded.

According to some here, I (and many of my friends) are probably impoverished, poorly educated and racist because we attend football matches and enjoy dishing out abuse when at those games.

Nothings great about most fans. All english teams fans are scum according to most people here on this forum. And i cant understand how most people here jump on the wagon coating off English club fans where its by far worse seen around europe so to speak. Most of you here if not all in fact probably hasnt even been to a football match in your life, so sit and type ridiculous bollocks about fans. From what you see on tv or hear what others say?

Of course not all English fans are scum, but many supporters of the larger clubs are, and that has nothing to do with nationality since you've got Prem fans all across the world. Most Prem fans in this country are particularly dumb shits when it comes to football in general. And since they represent their beloved clubs of United or Arsenal, or what have you, then they set the standard for being judged. You could have seen zero matches in your life and you'd still know that Manure fans are idiots.

Have to say that Suarez is absolutely amazing, what a player, his turns in tight spaces are a joy to behold, i really enjoyed the way he toyed with United's defense time and time again, especially in the goal. Kuyt was amazing too, to a lesser extent so was Meireles,

I don't know if you agree with me Aaron, i don't watch Pool's games every week so i could be wrong here, but my impression is that Meireles has been the best and most influential player in Dalglish's Liverpool. Very consistent, very energetic and scores a lot of goals for a midfielder too.
I agree, Raul has been amazing. However, the team as a whole has played better since Dalglish took over.

That has been said before.

It was in some debate about Ultras, where it was suggested pretty much all people who attend matches fit that rather inaccurate and lazy stereotype.
Just cause fans give players a hard time doesn't make them scum. It makes them fans.

I'm not one for condemning fans, as a general rule.

What I object to is teams like Liverpool and Celtic, who set themselves up as having better fans than other clubs, but they engage in much the same behaviour as everyone else does.

Don't most big teams have "The Best Fans In the World"?

I don't really know anything much about fan culture within Spain.

This was my only encounter with Spanish fans:

Don't be misled by the title; Atletico fans started throwing flares and bottles at Aberdeen fans, so Aberdeen went charging in. The Atletico fans then legged it and left the local police to do their dirty work for them.

Were you there, "having it out" in the streets. That stuff seems cool and exciting to me.

Not the whole violence thing, but the wandering around repping your team after a match.

I agree, in the US it's just like that. How come everyone's a United fan? Because they win and the so called fans don't really give a crap about much. Some don't even watch any games ffs. This guy at school who's a Chelsea fan had no idea they played ManU this week.

That all happened before the game, Aaron. It was pretty quiet post match.

You'll just need to come and live in Europe for a bit if you want to experience it.
