And Carlo keeps beating Ferguson. I don't know Mourinho's record against Fergie, but Carlo's 7 wins on 11 matches with the red face is a damn good record.
Only when he was Juve's coach Ancelotti couldn't beat Ferguson. That heart breaking '99 semifinal

Luiz...what a great player. Should've got a red for that late tackle on Rooney but otherwise, so strong and such a presence on the field. Much deserved win for Chelsea, United's season is about to go down the sink. I can see em losing to Arsenal and hopefully Liverpool.

The day of thousand illnesses :(
Was it that day? i think that the flu day was 4 years later, in the group stages in 2003. We lost at Old Traford 2:1 iirc and Lippi was our coach.
I'm talking about the 1999 semifinals. First in Manchester we led 0:1 until the 90th minute and Giggs equalized and then in the return match we were 2:0 up with two goals by Inzaghi, but in the end we lost 2:3 and ManU made the bloody final.

We ended 7th in serie A but we made the CL semis that season.
We might easily end up 7th this year too, but can you imagine this team playing in CL semis? Lol, we're so bad I can just laugh
But DO you remember the group stage from that year? It was the original 2010-11 Europa League for us.

:howler:

Fuck it, not Vida. :( Okay I'm used to be ass whipped by Carlo's team(s) (and by Martin Atkinson) but why did Vidic get himself sent off? Suarez is going to have fun against Evans and Smalling, or even worse; watch a 10% fit Rio Ferdinand getting rushed back (like against Liverpool last season) costing us the game then getting injured for the rest of the season. :)

Anyway, we don't deserve the league, we're more boring than 2004's Greece. Arsenal deserve it more.

That was shortly after I became a Juve fan :touched:
I became a Juve fan in early 1997. Some 7-8 months after the CL win. In my time as a Juve fan "I lost" 3 CL finals, that CL semifinal triller with Manchester, the lost scudetto in Perugia, went to serie B and I'm going through this post-calciopoli shit.
Yes, 6 scudetti in the meantime, one of them particularly sweet on May 5th, but the disappointments outnumber the joy

Juve, have mercy on me FFS, please.

Dude, how old were you back then?

I became a fan in 1998 with little way of watching the side play. The first Serie A matches I remember seeing were on a fuzzy television tuning into DC's RAI International station. At times, I could barely see the football, it was that staticky. I got pissed I couldn't move the antenna to the right spot.

Lol

I was 17 when I became a Juve fan, but you see, in my childhood our domestic league was pretty strong and we didn't get to watch other leagues at all (except occasionally catching some european matches when the others played Yugoslav teams or the final matches). We all had a favorite domestic club and we didn't care about Italians, English or Spanish football. Then things went to hell in Yugoslavia so people didn't care about football that much. When Suker went to Real in 1996 I followed them a lot too and it was between Real and Juve for me, but the 1998 CL final gave me the final answer that I love Juve and I don't really give a damn about Real so ever since it's only Juve.
