@Alen and Vlatko, you guys need to see Modric's 40 meter pass to Hutton in the build up to VDV's first goal, that was absolutely sublime.

Bale is getting all the hype, but without a doubt Modric is their best, most influential and most consistent player. Not only is he a creative player and an amazing passer, his reading of the game is very good too, and he makes a lot of interceptions in midfield. After watching him for two years, i can safely say i think he's one of the best creative CM's out there and can easily start for most big clubs.

As impossible as it is, i'd love it if we could nick him as a Cesc replacement.

That was a very soft red card, IMO yellow at best, he didnt kick him, he went up for the heading duel, and his arm like it happens alot in such sitautions, was on defenders face. Wasnt a malicious action or an elbow.


And I wouldnt say Modric was the best player, even if he did real good (that pass to Hutton was brilliant) with the unnoticed hard work in that 2nd half.

But the better goal of the 2 is the 2nd one, nice frigging combination, impossible without Bale's part. Nifty to switch Bale and Lennons position there.
