I mean I watch Liverpool from time to time and everytime I watch them, they seem to have really good spells in their games that they control the game but seem to waste chance after chance. Then you turn to the defence and it's not Hodgson's fault half of his defenders have lost the ability to keep a level head and not fuck up.
Gerrard
Torres
Johnson
Have all massively underperformed this year.
Hodgson has brought Lucas to life it seems and brining in Meireles looks like a good move to. The only real mistake Hodgson has done is not start Aurellio over the terrible LB who I don't know how to spell his name.
The blame is with the players as much as the manager for Liverpool this season.
You would have thought he would get more out of the British and British-style players, but it seems to be the opposite. Liverpool fans might be in uproar but I think Carragher is virtually finished at the top level as well.
Part of it is the players, but a lot of it is Hodgson's fault especially when you considering substitutions at crucial parts of a match. Take the Newcastle match, it was 1-1 and a lot of the players were looking tired, we'd lost the momentum and Newcastle was coming at us at will. Perfect time for a sub. Hodgson just rubs his face.
Add to that the fact that we've only won one game away from goal this season and that Hodgson was just as bad last season away from home and it's easy to see that it's just not the players.
Plus he bought Poulsen and Konchesky and gave away Aquilani for peanuts.

As for Roy it's hard to respect him after some of the things he's said in the press. He's gotten better, but some things are going to stick with the fans for a while.
Lol at Blackburn sacking Allardyce, i hate the fat fuck, but come on, he's a more than decent manager for a club like Blackburn, and its not like he was doing poorly, with the squad he has at his disposal, his current results are quite good actually
