Decent first half. Liverpool are being dominated in every possible way. Credit to City, they are winning the ball high up the pitch and attacking Liverpool on the flanks. Adam Johnson has been running riot on that right hand side, Agger is such a poor fullback, he has been the weakest link in Liverpool's side today. Though the concussion he suffered in the Arsenal game could be a contributing factor here.

All in all, City deserve to lead, they have been by far the better side in this first half. Oh and btw, they played a 4-2-3-1. Yaya Toure has been functioning as an attacking midfielder. To be frank he was being played out of position at Barcelona, he is by no means a DM. It even helped shape peoples perception about him being a destroyer. Which is wrong of course, he has always played as an attacking CM, both in Monaco and in the Ivorian NT.

Oh and btw, Adam Johnson is one of the most talented English players in the past few years, kid could develop into a really good winger. He's really talented, his through ball to Milner for the goal was quite good
