The only reason that doesn't happen in the Serie A is because there are no real great attacking teams. You'd find that Chelsea do win by big margins in the CL too sometimes, rarely do you see Inter winning by big margins.

The Serie A is not as strong as neither the Liga nor the EPL IMO.
Or you could say that the PL league teams look great at attacking because the crap in the league makes them look that way.

That's a fact, though.

The great EPL attacking teams actually scored less than the serie A teams in 2008/09 and they scored more last year, mostly due to Chelsea's destroying of some teams (after Ancelotti joined Chelsea)

In total in the last two years the EPL teams scored 1995 goals while the serie A teams 1980 goals.
They score 2.62 goals per match in EPL and 2.60 in serie A.

So in 760 matches the EPL teams scored only 15 goals more than the serie A teams. Either they have amazing goalkeepers in the EPL or they aren't so much more attacking than the Italian teams as the average EPL commentator would like you to believe and guys like Fred will buy it.

And if we go further back...in 2007/08 the EPL teams scored 32 goals more than the serie A teams, in 2006/07 the serie A teams scored 37 goals more than the EPL teams.

Are we living in an illusion?

god i would love to shove this in the face of the queers that call serie a boring, because of a lack of goals.

last night while watching man city, they claimed that in italy and even france teams (big ones) play for the point when playing away...what a load of shit that was.

Attacking over defending. Serie A is 3rd behind La Liga and EPL. For that too change someone needs to stop Inter and Italian teams need to do better in CL.
That's two different points. So if Italian teams all defended for 90 minutes yet did really well in the CL (the Holy Grail) Serie A would be better than the PL and La Liga? Or do they have to play attacking football as well?

So why do you watch Serie A if you don't like the style of play?

Yeah. Example = Inter, there kinda boring to watch but they were best team in the world.
Inter aren't boring to watch.

The way they played against Chelsea last season and at home to Barca was brilliant.

Even in normal Serie A games, their defensive strength and clinical attacking was outstanding at times.

I watch the big games, highlights and Juventus if I can.

Inter tactics were great but still kinda boring to watch

Ignoring my dislike for them, I thought Inter were entertaining when they came up against good teams (Chelsea, Barça). The matches against CSKA seemed like a formality for them.

What was even more entertaining was browsing around the internet after the CL final to read the hundreds of people crying over how they were bored by their ruthless football.

Out of the European leagues, the only game I'd prefer over a regular Serie A game between two clubs in mid table would be El Clásico.

I'd rather watch Brasileirão matches than most European games really. Shame they aren't on TV.
