And Ancelotti still remains the only Italian coach who can win big things and play more entertaining football. The only Italian coach who can handle 21st century football.

If Berlusconi and Galliani didn't decide to stop investing and if they continued working seriously, Milan with Ancelotti were still going to be a great team.
But luckily Berlu doesn't want to invest and they simply decided to rely on 40 year olds.

Ya Ancelotti has got Chelsea to play some decent football. Nothing like the fantasy football his Milan team used to play, but that has more to do with personnel i think.

Chelsea will probably win it easier than they did last season.

Thus far, Holden has looked really good, both defensively and with the ball. He just slid in behind Danny Murphy, stole the ball, and made a nice ball up the pitch.

That's very narrow criteria. An Italian who can win big things, play entertaining football and handle 21st century football. In fact, that's narrow criteria for any coach.

Another joke of a result in the EPL.

Like Ive always said, the bottom half of this league is a fucking joke and not much different from Coca Cola Championship level.

They definitely have a stronger top four than the Serie A, but Id say the Serie A mid to lower level teams are stronger, and include players with football brains not just athletes who run 100km/h for 90 mins with no brains or skill.

Really the best league pound for pound (game quality, crowds, PROPER OWNERS, stadiums, up and coming players) is the Bundesliga. They are what every other league in Europe should aspire too.

But in saying that, Im still a fan of Serie A football, as flawed as it is. I find it fascinating and fun, and I like seeing the different tactical battles that go on each week between the coaches (and the inevitable controversies lol) and having my team in that league helps too I guess lol

The only reason that doesn't happen in the Serie A is because there are no real great attacking teams. You'd find that Chelsea do win by big margins in the CL too sometimes, rarely do you see Inter winning by big margins.

The Serie A is not as strong as neither the Liga nor the EPL IMO.

I'd agree in general terms but point out that when we compare the three we are comparing styles and not the actual balance of personnel. Juve would struggle in La Liga as a Spanish side would against the serie A roster (i.e. not getting a free kick for pretending to get shot, actual defending etc.)

If we were to take the top 10 teams in all three leagues I believe the debate would fall between EPL and Serie A because La Liga has no depth whatsoever.
