We only play with one striker, i'm content with Van Persie, Chamakh and Bendtner playing for that one position. We have a lot more pressing matters. We still need another centerback, we desperately need a keeper, we also need another midfielder. But i think our strikers are good enough(if they stay fit, and at Arsenal thats a big if)
Hangeland,Melo and Schwarzer.

The reported price for Kolarov is £14.1 million. If my BP to EUR converter is correct, that's 16.8 million eur. So, around 17m euro.

By this year's market standards that's an acceptable price even if it does look too high for a fullback.
The reports I'm seeing are suggesting the fee was a bit more than that.

Hangeland,Melo and Schwarzer.
I'd cream my pants if that happened. I'd also start believing we have a chance for the title.

They're going to have the best squad in the league, even if it will be debatable who has the best starting XI.
I was never scared of City, despite people saying that they'd finish above us for the past two years.

But with the signings they've made this summer, i will be very surprised if they didn't make the top four at the very least.

It'll be all about the start City make.

If the new guys bed in fast and they start solidly, they can probably have a run at the title.

If they start slowly and they take time to figure out their best team, then they may have a season of competing with Arsenal and Spurs for who will be 3rd/4th/5th.

They'd definitely do better than what Mark Hughes did with the team. Thats for sure. Anybody got any guesses on how their formation will look like?

Not when you put it that way. I really liked the guy, he's a real professional and the fact that he came back from that horrific injury shows his mental strength too. Its just too bad that he was never the same player after the injury. He's obviously a nice guy, and he loved the club and was equally loved by the players, fans and coaches alike. He's had nothing but nice words for the club after he signed for Shakhtar

Fact of the matter though is, he wouldn't have played if he stayed with us. So i think him moving to Shakhtar was best for all parties.

Normally i don't care much for players that leave Arsenal, except in rare cases(Henry, Pires, Vieira), but Eduardo is a player that i like very much and i will try and follow his progress as much as i can. I honestly and sincerely wish him all the best, and i'm going to be a Croatia fanboy for Eduardo too :D

I'm sure Arsenal fans will never forget him :)
Nah man, I didn't mean it like that, that's why I put cashed in under "".

Yeah, he's a great guy, really had a rough ride throughout his whole career and he's still determined. One must really admire his willpower. It's a shame really, he could have been great for you if he had luck on his side.

Oh well, I hope he somehow gets back on track, for my NT's sake. Thanks for your future support. :juventus:

Look at City transfer and their players salary, i wonder how City can be a profitable as a football club. They pay ridiculous transfer amount and give unrealistic wages to the players.. Just look at Adebayor, Yaya Toure, and Kolarov wages. They would have problem to get rid the players when they flop

They are just a rich Arab's toy.

No thought is being given to the longer term practicalities of the thing, as far as I can tell.
