There are more Argies, but I guess we could call it "South American". To keep with the continental theme.
I think that last year they had more Brazilians than Argies.

Julio Cesar, Maicon, Lucio, Thiago Motta, Mancini (first half of the season)
Cambiasso, Zanetti, Samuel, Milito.

Right now they have Burdisso (ARG) back, Kerlon (BRA) and Mancini (BRA) are back, while they also got Coutinho (BRA).

I'm not sure you can do better than Bridge, A.
That's probably true. But he'll probably cost more than his worth.

Who would you like as lb Aaron?
Would have rather us kept Insua and then purchased Figeroa.

I wasn't counting Motta, Mancini, and Kerlon.

tell me pls pool line up on first game vs. arsenal, who'll play on LB, LM/LW , 2 CB, will be formation still 4231 or Hodgson will convert it to 4411 442 or somethin' ?
Hodgson prefers 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1, which really doesn't differ too much from the 4-2-3-1.

I can't really say until we finish signing players, which we haven't. If we had to pick a line up right (based on what we currently have) now I guess it would be this.

Left--------------------------------------------Right

-----------------------Reina

Agger-----------Carragher-----Skrtel----------Johnson

-------------------Gerrard--------------Lucas

Cole-------------------------Aquilani----------------------Maxi

----------------------------Kuyt

Depends on if Fabregas goes to Barca.

I only put Agger at left back because we don't currently have one and I can't really speculate as to which left back we will sign considering we are linked with 6 of them.

Gerrard is better at playing deeper than Aquilani. Aquilani has said before he prefers to play further up the pitch, and he's played his best matches there behind the striker.

Jovanovic - Gerrard ---- Aquilani----Kuyt/Maxi

I don't think Dani has ever played at left back, he's been great at center back and I think Roy will leave him there. Agger played on the left a bunch for us in the past (done well too) and could probably play there in a pinch. I guess Danny Wilson could play at left back as well.

Especially right off the bat. But at least that means we get the tough games over with early.

I expect us to beat Arsenal and United, Birmingham and WBA. Can't really say about City until I see how they play as a unit.
