He is one of the best strikers IMO, too bad he is made from glass.

He did okay playing with his back to goal and linking the play in the first half.

City then moved him wider, and Tevez into the middle, and he struggled to mane any impact from there.

He doesn't look sharp yet.
I think Mancini doesn't use him properly, he is not typical target man or poacher. In his first game when he was moved more to the left he played better. Today I watched only some parts of the game so I can't give my judgment, I heard that he missed sitter.

It wasn't a sitter.

It was a back post cross to him, and he should have done better with the header, but there was a decent challenge on him by the defender to make it more awkward.

Indeed it was.

I love how MOTD does a section on how wonderful Rooney is, even though he isn't scoring.

I don't recall them doing that for many other players; they just slag others off.

Rooney has been playing well not scoring but helping with link up play. People forget that before Ronaldo left he didn't score much, he just set up play which he is doing well now

RVP would probably be the best striker in the world if he didn't get injured so much. Class.
IDK about that. He plays on a team best suited for him. If he was to play on a much rougher team like a Liverpool I doubt he would do as well. The guy is class though when fit, was he at the world cup?

He assisted Robben for that second chance when Puyol pulled him down. Scored against Japan only.

As for the team, you could say the same for Xavi and Iniesta. I just think he's very complete though. Sharp, good movement, good passing, somewhat tall, etc. The team would probably conform to his style not the other way. He's be pretty good alongside Torres.

Modric had a pretty good game yesterday, took an amazing shot from outside the area that had the keeper beaten but unfortunately came crashing back off the crossbar.
One of the top 5 CM this season easily and is the pivotal cog for Spurs, more so than van der Vaart.
