He was rather good, i wouldn't say maestral performance at all, as he could have imposed himself on the game more and he could have got more on the ball, especially since we were attacking with big numbers and leaving a lot of space behind. But he did a rather good job defensively actually, and played a few good passes here and there. On a scale of 1 to 10, i'd give him a 7.

I said it before and i will say it again, i was a fan of Eduardo's before his horror injury, but even at his best he was never and will never be half the player Van Persie is. Not underestimating Eduardo here, but Van Persie is that good.
Also i have to say, Eduardo's injury two years ago does not excuse his absolutely horrid performances with us this season. He's had two years to recover and frankly i think he should be showing some improvement, i'm not asking him to be the player he was before the injury, all i'm asking is some sign of improvement. But Eduardo has been our worst offensive player this season, some of the chances he's fluffed and some of the poor performances he's given this season are really embarrasing for a player like him. Its quite telling that its no longer a competition between him and Bendtner. I mean you know your bad when you can't get a minute of Niklas Feckin Bentdner.

The bold part is spot on. I don't know how anyone can argue about that, but it's also not really proper to compare the two. Van Persie is more of a fantasista, while Dudu is more of a classic striker, finisher, compared to him. But sadly, Van Persie is the true Fibgreglass.
That said, I must tell you, pretty much everyone here has crossed of Eduardo. No one sees him coming back from that injury, not back to the player he was anyway...
And now that said, you can't possibly hold against him these horrid performances, after that injury. Few players would even dare step on the pitch after it, I know I wouldn't. The body has healed(as much as possible) but in his head, I don't think he will ever recover. It remains to be seen how his career will go...personally, I don't see much hope. At the most crucial point of his career, things went to hell, I don't know can he bounce back. But even the likes of Del Piero and Ronaldo were nowhere near the players they were, for a long time after injury of such magnitude. They don't call 'em career ending injuries for nothing.

IMO some of the toothless performances he's come up with this season have been absolutely inexcusable. I am willing to wait another season despite the fact that he's already had a full season on the sidelines and another full season being fit. He should step up or step out next season.
I'd hate to see him take a huge downgrade, to some mid-table La Liga side...but perhaps it could workout for him. La Liga is less demanding physically and maybe he could find his rhythm quicker and be as good as ever for my NT.
