Yeah, people will be pissed. Especially after Rafa talked about playing for the FA Cup. Hopefully folks will riot.

Though I doubt anything will come of it. The Americans are happy to take the profit and leave the club in debt and playing shit football.

Indeed. Liverpool are in a very bad situation. Hopefully they come out of it.

Hey Aaron, isnt it the case that Pool cant sack Benitez, too much money involved if Benitez gets sacked. So you can forget about hiring Guus even if Benitez gets the sack.

I have no clue about the buy out for Benitez or the money we have to sign a new manager. So if you want assurance that we won't get Guus, you can tell yourself that all you want.:D

There will be a bunch of media speculation and 99% of it will be crap. So I won't know what's going to happen til it happens.

As for Guus I think he's a short term fix rather than a long term solution. He's a band aide where a kidney transplant is needed. At any club he goes to.

What is needed at Juve is to remember what winning feels like and how to do it. If he stays for 1 1/2 seasons and wins a Scudetto, a super cup and CL semi-finals, that will definitely do a world of good for Juve in the long run.

How? Short term success with Guus only proves that success can happen with Guus. What good is that for a club looking to establish a longevity of greatness?

And with Guus, doing well is guaranteed but winning trophies is not.

At Liverpool owners need to go, the backroom needs to go, and we need a new side of players. Nothing he can really help.

Juve just need a better board and some new players. So he could be of service, but for how long? Until the next FA offers him an ass load of change to take them to a quarter or semi final? 2 year max.

As if you wouldn't agree to winning the Prem with Guus for a season then moving on.
I'd love it, but a few seasons later when we were sucking balls. I'd be like man I wish we'd thought about the long term.

Look at the Mancs. They've won everything in the last couple seasons and they might be in as dire financial straits as anyone.

I think a big point here is that Guus hasn't won anything. I mean who wants to pay big money for a guy that is only guaranteed to come close.
