Very competitive and enjoyable game between Everton and Tottenham.

That kid that played RB for Everton, Coleman. Looked really impressive, going forward he's a beast.

Coleman was impressive, but I would point out that it was only Bale he was attacking against, and Bale can't defend for shit.

That is true, but he made a monkey out of Assou Ekotto too, who normally is quite a solid fullback.

Oh and Vlatko, your boy Kranjcar had a good game yet again today, he played in his teammates with his delicate passing a number of times. He put both Defoe and Crouch one on one against the keeper, but both missed.

EPL teams don't seem to know how to play against guys who start wide and drift into the middle.

Neither the full back or the centre mids take responsibility and they are, as often as not, left in splendid isolation to do whatever they want.

I didn't see that match but David Moyes said something to that effect today.

BTW, there's another Irish RB called Seamus that should be gracing the EPL soon.

Conneely? He has U21 caps right? Linked to someone, or are you just talking up a Galway player?
Yeah, Conneely. He's in the U21 team but he has only played as a CB and CM so far for them. He can play both of those positions but his best position is RB.

He's been linked with a few English teams over the last year or so but Middlesborough seems to be his most likely destination. They have been over here to watch him and talk to the club.

Good to hear. I can't wait for Modric to comeback and see how Harry will field them.

Huddlestone - Palacios

Modric

Lennon ------------------ Kranjcar

Defoe

I'd like to see something like that.

Kranjcar was always a very good player. But the likes of Barkuss wrote him of as a fat pig and here he is now, years later in the most physically demanding league doing quite alright.

Well since he made the move from Zagreb to Split, it's to be expected. I've actually seen a couple football programs on that specific subject, so it's not surprising Bark would hate on Niko. It made the news.
