Btw, Chelsea's fourth goal was brilliant too, cheeky interplay between Deco and Lamps before Drogba stroked it home.
It was offside tbh but the move was superb. We completely dominated that game and even without the red card/pen that result was coming. Ancelotti is doing a magnificent job.

Just want to mention how well Anelka is doing. He has been magnificent for Chelsea in the last say 15 months or so and doesn't seem to get the plaudits he deserves. Tremendous footballer and really sad to think he was wasting away his career at Bolton/Turkey. Hope he gets that new contract because he really deserves it.

Fred, you mind I mentioned before a 16 year old who has been starring in centre midfield for Aberdeen this season?

Anyway, he's Fraser Fyvie and apparently there were Arsenal scouts at our game yesterday to watch him.

They can come after Aberdeen's youngster if they want.

He signed a three year contract in the summer, so they would have to pay a decent amount for him.

I remember you mentioning him ya. Is he any good? What are his strengths?

Forget the penalty, he was brilliant all game. Two clear cut goal scoring opportunities he saved from Birmingham.

City haven't won in 4 games now. They are certainly giving Liverpool a lifeline. I still think they will make big four at the expense of Liverpool come the end of the season though.

He's just a very solid all round centre mid.

Good passer, very composed and not afraid to put in a tackle.

He's been used as the link between the destroyer and the box-to-box midfielder in our midfield three this season.

I agree.

I only focused on the penalty because the post before mine was made immediately after the penalty.

16 years old and already he's playing in the physically demanding Scottish league. He might be the player we've needed to add that extra bit of steel to our midfield.

He won't be doing anything for a while, though.

He was stretchered off yesterday and, while it hasn't been confirmed yet, it looked like an ankle ligament thing at the time.
