Liverpool lost today as well. Seems like yet another waste of a season for them.

Rafa got it wrong, and 4 games already lost.

I still think/hope they can finish 5th.

Chelsea and Liverpool lost :weee:

Lets just hope City follow them tommorow.

Villa played a very good game against Chelsea today. Very well organised and hard working team.

Friedel despite his gaffe for Drogba's goal, was immense throughout the game after that, he stopped Chelsea from scoring 3 clear cut chances. When at his best Friedel borders on world class. The thing about him, is he always raises his game when playing against one of the big four.

Will Rafa make it past Christmas? With our owners trying to sell to anyone interested, he may sneak by. I don't imagine he'll stay past the summer.

I can't say a loss to Sunderland really bothers me. Most Liverpool fans have seen this coming a mile away, and while Rafa may deny it, we pretty much accept we're out of the running. The only way to salvage the season would seem to be a good run in Europe, but even that looks dire as our squad is based around two players that can't seem to stay fit while traveling with their national teams (fuck you del bosque).

So while many of you may revel in our misery this season, I will be laughing as Manchester United once again take the EPL title. :segio:

Man United aren't the superhouse they used to be three years ago. They are winning games, but not as convincingly as before. Today they had a lot of trouble with Bolton, after Bolton scored their goal, it was all Bolton from there, but they just couldn't get that vital second.

Also their games against City, Sunderland, Burnley, Arsenal and Birmingham were all far from convincing.
